It's fun to play around with the design, evertime I turn it around you get a totally different print and color combination. I think I've spent over 30 minutes in front of the mirror tossing and turning to see which combination I like the most but it's almost impossible to decide:giggle: There's also some details in the flowers which reflect so nice in the light as you can see on the pictures. Anyway thank you to the ones who've shared this scarf before, I'm glad not to miss out on it!

I went for the blue tulips , cw11. I like it a lot, but I do think the color choices are a bit difficult for this design. They are all beautiful to look at but hard to match. I´ll also have a look at the pink based one when it arrives.. What I love about the bright based ones is that they look classic and fun at the same time.. :amuse:

I missed on Act III in cash but have a couple of 90s. I think this design looks THE best in 140 format - and I am kicking myself for missing it. I feel the same for La Danse (which I did get in 140 this time - didn't make the same mistake with it). I don't think Retour can come any close to Acte III - sorry, didn't mean to offend anyone. If you have a limited $$ budget, I would go to look for act III from the resellers - look for your first choice.

I really love this on you! I returned this one because on me, it was too cool and didn't match my complexion. But I think you are cooler? It looks gorgeous on you!

I tried and liked this cw with a blue jeans jacket, and with white, silver and grey tops. Maybe black will work as well? I am not sure about cool jewel tones, since I don't have any so did not try it with those colors.

I still really love this design and hope I will find the right cw for me! Let us know what you decide.

The other big question, is it too similar to my BdG Shadow and my Plumes en Fete to warrant keeping it? Would love some honest opinions on this. Here are the three scarves with the same knot. (I am also open to rehoming one of the other scarves and keeping this, if it comes to that...)

I am biased because I also love yellow and tulips and I have this scarf. I hesitated as well but could not part with it. The yellow is very bright and I only like the corners with the red flowers but I still love it on white, black, jeans, and even peach (the colour matches some flowers). I do think it is very similar to the 2nd scarf you showed. I personally prefer the first (Tulpomanie) and the third scarf, and think the second one could be re homed if you decide to keep Tulpomanie. Before deciding, you could also try a different cw?

Ooh this blue one is so lovely on you and you styled is so nicely!! I already have the yellow one but now I want to try this one too (and the vermilion and rose one as well). I do agree, this design is classic but fun at the same time :smile:

I feel the same way, except for CW 05 (yellow tones) for me. It’s beautiful but I can’t make my mind up as the colours don’t seem saturated enough and there’s too much white space, granted I haven’t seen it in person yet. My SA is going to hold it once it arrives to the store, so I can still change my mind. I do have Acte iii in the 140, and every time I see another 140 I measure it against my Acte iii and it’s been a ‘no’ for all the other scarves every time…

I see it sold online a lot though, try Vestiaire maybe? That’s how I found one of my grails - it’s both easy and difficult to get a particular scarf on this site, as the names aren’t in the title so it’s hard to find from just googling. If you set the correct search filters on the site and just recheck once in a while it’s possible it might come up.

I think you are probably right. I passed on CW 13 because I already owned two other colorways of Acte III 140 and really couldn’t justify three. But I am still kind of regretting that decision. I see similarities in the colors of Retour, but I know it’s not the same. :sad:

Yes, that's exactly it. I want to love Retour (and I do love the design), but the colors are just not all there for me. Acte III came in such beautiful CWs and was just a beautiful design...the real gold standard!
