Being short, I already struggle with having to wrangle the huge swaths of material in a 140cm scarf/shawl. I can't even imagine how overwhelming that material would be if it was stiff from pleating and not even lying flat against my body.

As always, the focus in the collection is on the regular silk and silk/cashmere. The pleated versions of the offered designs come only in one CW per scarf/shawl and the price point is much higher, hence far fewer will be available/ordered by the stores, as well as less demand. They are basically special editions and not for everyone.
