MAGJES,
Both are so beautiful! For me, I would probably go with the second one because the colors seem richer to me. Tend to go for camels and oranges paired with other brights. Truly, you can't go wrong with either.
My hesitation with the gray/brighter colorway is that I don't gravitate towards the gray background shawls. Not sure it there is enough of that color to clash with my skin tone, but I would have to try it on to see. I have one shawl with gray and blues (Samarai one by Aline Honore from many years ago.) I don't reach for it as much.
You, on the other hand, CAN wear those pretty soft gray backgrounds.
Thanks for posting the pics. I can't wait to see which one you decide.

Dear @MAGJES, I would pick neither (sorry!) I don't think this design is anything to write home about (am sorry - just being honest) - it is a bit flat, the colors are clashing, odd combo of light blue-ish base with orange trim and oh-so-common nowadays gris de chine.. Not sure if it is a worthwhile investment? Maybe that is why you are not sure which one to pick?:) As far as I remember, you have a fantastic (fantastic!!!) collection of shawls - one better than the other.. I am afraid it is a case of looking for burger when you have a filet mignon at home:) Think about it:))

I prefer the combinations you made with the one with the gray border. To me, it has more character then the one with the pale blue black ground. But both are lovely of course.

I love the one with the baby blue background. It makes the orange and yellow pop and has a mod feel
Agree! It does feel very "MOD" especially with the pop of black too. Thank you for your thoughts!

Thank you Ladybaga for your opinion! I love anything baby blue but also do gravitate toward the gris chine backgrounds as well.

Thank you Ashanti_Rose for your honest opinion. I like hearing all thoughts and am now taking a different look at them! Why am I now craving a steak dinner!?! lol.

Thank you MAGJES!

I would prefer the aqua one, the colour combo is beautiful. I saw it in my boutique today.
Thank you Croisette. This baby blue is what drew me to this design. Soft blues are my weakness.

I vote for the 2nd one. Also, just curious if you see other colors? I am waiting to see 4 and 6.

Thanks Supermommy and redheaddem! I do really like the beautiful colors in the gray colorway.
Suppermommy - CW04 is lovely as well - it looks to have a gorgeous yellow hem.

Hey @MAGJES-- of these two I prefer the baby blue-- the colors are so harmonious and it ties so beautifully and I adore the hem! And you know me, I love me some gris chine, but the camel/blue and accent colors have me pulled completely in the blue's favor. Can't wait to see your mod shots!

I wanted to add that about a month ago, I tried on this shawl in blue (like blue saphire shade), green, red, and camel. I think it had an oatmeal background(?) I can't remember the colorway, but I fell in LOVE with it. I was surprised that my SA insisted that I wait for the light blue border one that you showed (first one) until I make up my mind. Maybe he thinks I have too many primary colored shawls. Problem is, they sold out of that one, so I doubt I will ever get to see it in real life. I guess if it's meant to be, it will find me. Again, both will look fabulous on you. I can't wait to see which one you choose.
Came back to add that I am a sucker for anything that looks braided. I fell in love with the swirly braided patterns in this design. Eeee gad, I am talking myself into buying this shawl. I thought I had put it out of my mind.

I too prefer the baby blue one with the orange hem. I think the colour combination is very fresh. However, I do agree with @Ashanti_Rose that there are many shawls in your collection that I think are more beautiful than this design. It depends on what gap you’re looking to fill in your collection.
