I saw that too, very curious about it. Kind of looks like the Romance belt thing? I'm hoping it's not.
Edit: Ok, maybe one end is and the other is a clip like what you would use for a shoulder strap. Could be fun to hang a gavroche or 70 from.

The Trim seems to have a much longer strap than in previous versions, which is disappointing to me. I prefer my shoulder bags to stay near my armpit, not dangle down at hip level. This strap looks too long for that and too short to be crossbody, moreover doesn't look adjustable. Bummer.

I'm digging those metal CDCs though.

Same here. I have several trims and would love one in a newer color, but not with this kind of strap. So it's not really a trim, then, is it?

So, all my H bags are resale, but: I own a Trim, and have fondled a Halzan. Why would a Halzan be about $4K and the new Trim about $10K? I didn't notice a significant difference in required workmanship. What am I missing? Many thanks!

The more I see the cupholder on the Birkin the more I wanna cry....

Again, I'm a minority, but I find all these new bags or the variations of Birkins, Bolides ecc....hideous. Maybe, if they are limited editions, collectors could be interested, but I honestly can't imagine anybody carrying them to go to the office or grocery shopping! JMHO.
