I finally arrived home from the lovely Le Salon 24 event. Our boutique was transformed into a Versailles chateau with gardens of bag collections at every turn. The bags were separated initially by colors, and we viewed blues first. After a few glasses of champagne, and a lavender iced tea (to which I poured in more champagne), my friend and I were very impressed with the beautiful skins and multi-color presentations. We were allowed 1 wish each so we selected the two bags in the one photo - I am taking the bright red which I'm sure will set back my credit card in September!! We also selected two additional bags given my mom (a H favorite person) and cousin could not attend. The little bags are also shown in the photo. The red and reddish colour bags we selected as our main 'wish' are the 'Drag Up' style - which is stunning with two H-shaped clasps. Cute name - as those of you from the EU will recognize it. Right now I feel as though I must drag myself up the stairs and put on my flats!!! Thanks for the messages to my post earlier - it was a very fun event!!!

These budget-breaking bags are beautiful - delivery is in September!!! They are leather (on left) and exotic. I was after the color red (I'm in the blue jacket) and my friend loved the darker reddish color in constance-like leather. There was a name for it and it wasn't a common one and with all of the champagne and my lack of French since 8th grade...I cannot remember. The selection was exotics and rare colors and rare combinations...thank goodness...because if I selected another 50 shades of blue bag...it would not go over well at home! My DH will never complain about bright red LOL!! Now to find lipstick and shoes to match - I have 4.5 months to do so!!!

Now if only to remember that beautiful shade of red - I guess I'll have to shop for shoes etc in September... in addition to acquiring this bag...excuses excuses!!! Have to match the bag though :-) I just loved how light-weight it was - like a feather. I have a croc birkin that is heavy as can be (to me) and I don't love it at all because of the weight. It's also blue - as every other bag I own seems to be...time to clean the closet!

Wow...so cool!! Love the bag and the color. That Constance is so beautiful. Pls do post pics of your bag when she arrived 😉
