The 1:1 is more of a guide than a hard and fast rule. Most SAs won’t mention the ratio or the amount of pre-spend. It could go higher or way higher depending on the specs of the QB you want. Trust your SA and just buy what you like.

Hi Harper. Firstly, congrats!

I’ll try to describe where it is and if you still can’t find it, DM me.

step 1
1. Hold the bag with the opening facing you
2. Lift up the flap and loosen the sangles
3. Look into the bag. Look at left hand back side of the bag (the are 4 corners right? you should be looking internally at the top left back corner)
4. The date stamp is at the corner below the strap/sangles (it’s in a vertical format)

i go down the orange slide quite slipperily, ie i don't plan my purchases to be precisely whatever ratio the SA has in mind, find that just buy regularly and check occasionally when you roughly know you are at 1:1 (so that you can start being more precise about your wish QB) and then start to wait. while waiting, i also spend if i like something..though my SA feels paiseh that I still dun have a bag..

Thanks for the responses Ladies! Always read about 1:1 or 1:1.3-1.5, how likely to score when purchase history is lower than 1:1 ratio? Wondering if anyone on this forum has had that happen :nuts:

thank you!!! I finally found it but cannot quite make out the alphabet cos my bag is in noir. Haha!

Your chances to score with prespend of lower than 1:1 is not high unless you have been a long time customer and have gotten QBs before already. BUT it is not impossible, again, it depends on your overall purchase history and relationship with SA/boutique. There will always be bigger spenders than you.

Add: Your chances of getting a QB with lower than 1:1 or no prespend at all is at Paris.

Yes but not in SG. I’ve been a H customer for 12 years but am still pretty new to SG. My current SA is aware, possibly also because of the products I ask for coz I already have an existing collection. But I like the candour of the SG system. No games. Once you qualify, they will let you know.

yeah i concur. as a newcomer in the last 2 years, the prespend is likely 1:1 and more to get a QB. but i know for sure long time customers can get a QB with much lower prespend ..because they already have an established relationship with the SAs.

I suggest not to be too fixated with the 1:1 ratio. I believe this works differently among each shoppers. You could have small talks with your SA and subtly share what bag you wish to purchase. While on the journey buy items which you like and before you know it the time will arrive. :smile:

Based on what has been shared on the past couple of hundred pages - no.

But I do recall a sweet gentleman like you who was looking at a evelyn tpm for his wife and how he was put on waitlist. Can’t remember his username. Let’s see if he can give you some insight.
