Thank you. I think it is $4,100 now based on the online price I posted a while ago. There is no specific purpose for the bag actually, I just wanted to add something to my collection as I already have B, K and C. I recently moved temporarily to Chanel and purchased a classic flap in beige. I was thinking of getting a woc next but seeing that the picotin is even cheaper than the woc, it got me thinking if the woc is still worth it or the picotin is more worth it.

Ah really?? (Sorry, couldn't see the listed price from your previous shared photo) I got mine back in mid June at $4050. and that was already after a slight price increase, as told by my SA. I think, I would go for a WOC if you wanna build up on your collection and just move on after that, their price hikes is always by a few hundreds at least. whereas the price hike for hermes is like in increment by $50 - $100. I've seen many Chanel fans reflecting on the fact that they should have bought XXX when it was $XXX but always end up buying at the increased price.

So i would say go for WOC in this case, then wait for a nice colour + HW for Picotin in time to come, since you've already got BKC. It's a nice to have item from H, tbh, very functional, perfect for a afternoon walk at the mall.

Thank you! I really appreciate it. I think I’ll get woc next first while I still can justify its price :biggrin: I really wanted it next, I just had second thoughts when I saw picotin’s price. I am honestly surprised that the picotin is cheaper than chanel’s woc now.

Actually, it's not that picotin is cheaper, it's chanel WOC which is crazily in that kinda price range! By Hermes standard, at $4k for a small bag, we can get a popular bag at Balenciaga/ Mulberry/ Dior maybe. like a classic piece. I'm actually shocked that WOC is now even more than picotin, when it used to be just maybe at 2.5k? and that alone is already a price where not many can justify paying for a wallet ~ :panic: but of course, if we compare apple to apple ; KTG to WOC, WOC still cheaper lol.

Just to add, Mini E is cheaper than Picotin and probably hold more than a Chanel WOC.

Woc is readily available unlike picotin especially for the exact specs u prefer. And to compare the price history, the increment for Chanel is much faster than Hermès. I recall what I bought in 2014 for Chanel versus Hermès in paris, the disparity is huge

This is gonna be a unpopular opinion, but I personally feel like Herbag is like this baby sister of Kelly's and Garden Party. Stuck in the awkward stage of going through puberty, a mix between two of her beautiful sisters. The one with the pegasus is quite unique though. If I already have either Kelly or GP and owns a Herbag, i think the chances of bringing Herbag out will be extremely low.

I agree with you on this one. I had a herbag before but I always end up reaching for my kelly. Its too big on me as well so I ended up giving it to my sister.

Haha! Then don't confuse yourself further! Herbag got kicked out already lol. Go for WOC then at the same time enquire on the specs for Picotin. I think there's a Picotin Cargo! Saw on instagram's reseller page. dunno if it is legit not.

In Singapore context, completely agreed. But living in a four season country, herbag is the summer, beach town bag: biarritz or cap ferret with linen dress, straw sandals and straw hat? Hmmmm :girlsigh:
