I was at Liat Tower and they happened to Hv Bearn Compact Wallet, the only wallet I like from H. Originally I intend to get it during my coming Europe trip in Dec but SA kept saying it’s hard to come by even in Paris. Bite the bullet n I m super regret now. It’s merely €1620 vs SGD3450. Despite I can get the tax refund fr Spore yet it’s huge diff in price. [emoji24][emoji24][emoji24]

Is it true Bearn compact is hard to come by in Spore n Europe ?

yes I do think so! I have not seen any bearn compact wallet so far in my Europe trips to Italy, London and even Paris. Which colour did you get?

I prefer Chèvre & blue (except light blue). The one I got is Epsom which is ok. No go for swift.

My last trip in Spore, I went to all 3 H stores in airport and none of them have any.

Why so little compact wallets? No demand ? People prefer long wallet?

I love compact wallet (love my Chanel compact) As it van goes to small bag easily and mini bag is the trend too.

The compact bearn is not too hard to find and there are some available on the european website. Of course it depends on what colour as well and if you really enjoy the wallet I would not risk it in case you don't find it in Europe

I don’t think I can play the H game because whatever I like (even the non bag products) may not be available in that particular boutique. So I will buy from wherever it has what I want.

Also there’s no guarantee that what you find here you’d find in Europe
Xmas before last one I saw the purple iridescent Chanel flap. I kept hesitating then eventually it sold out in SG
I told myself that I’m going to UK so I’ll look in UK. Anyway it’s much cheaper.
When I got to UK, SA told me it was sold out inUK the day it came out

You are right @EllenTsai, I didn’t manage to get the blue coco handle in entire Paris last Aug too.. So this year I just grabbed it from my KLCC boutique once it’s out in July since they released a blue one (diff tone). Even that, I had to wait. For Chanel after the price harmonization, minimum saving so can’t justify the wait yet can’t get disappointment !

I will be spending Xmas in Europe so I guess most boutiques will be rather empty due to Xmas presents rush.
