Wouldn't recommend storing your hermes bag in the original boxes, the leather would not be able to 'breathe'.

Also, especially in our humid weather, boxes grow mould easily which could spread to the leather. Do sun your box occasionally to get prevent mould from growing if you wish to keep the box too .
