I've seen this. Heard its around $400+ for a kelly. Only concern is that if you need to send the bag for the Hermes spa, they will probably reject it, unless you remove all the seals.

Thx so much for this info! I've been thinking of doing that on my next trip to SG. But $400 is too much for risking the bag being rejected by H when she goes to SPA! Didn't think abt that actually. And if I should remove all the seals I may scratch the HW with my nails. Not sure how well they are sealed.

Thanks! Where can we go to do these seals? I'm also worried about getting scratches on the HW. Do most carry their Bs or Ks with the seals still on?

Hi, I am interested to purchase a Kelly in Singapore. I called MBS line and was informed they do not have a Kelly and that their waiting list are closed. Any idea how can I purchase a new Kelly without buying anything? Anyone purchased a Kelly in Singapore recently before?

These deals are available in Singapore. You can follow their Instagram account called masterseals_sg, they have a contact number there also. Looking at their photos, they are very skilled in putting those seals onto the hardware, you can barely tell that they have been sealed.

As for my Birkin, I remove the seals when they start to peel off. I also heard that they seals should be removed to prevent the hardware from degrading. Hope this helps!

This hardware seal thing is crazy, but if you want the hardware to peel eventually then why not...

Looking at the price, it would probably be cheaper to remove the plastic, enjoy the beauty of the bag without silly plastic on the hw, then pay for the hw to be replaced by Hermés when the scratching actually bothers you...

Each their own, I appreciate that, but seeing people keep the plastic on their bags always makes me cringe. What next, carrying the bag around in its dustbag to keep the corners from scratching?

I think the bags were made to be used, gentle signs of use are a sign of the bag being loved and used, and give it character. So what, c'est la vie!

i totally agree with you. they also make me think they want to sell the bags after they use them "gently"? i also commented on other threads i was wondering why do i see people leave the hardware protection seals?? and i see more and more. i doubt people could truly enjoy their belonging still looking like they could be on the boutique shelves. that brings me to imagine that they might want to resell them??

For my case,I was more concerned on scratching the hardware. However after reading the review on the hardware tarnish on some ladies Birkins,I immediately remove the stickers.Haha...I rather have scratches then hardware tarnish

Just in case anyone's on the lookout - Saw a black clemence Lindy 30 on shelf at Liat Towers this morning. (When I was on the hunt for a Lindy they never had them on shelf...[emoji58])

I saw the same too last week when i was at the Liat store! The customer viewed the bag and bought it immediately...seems like the store has more Lindy(s) than we think. :amuse:

Wouldn't think they would be on the shelves for long. Anyone scored a Birkin or Kelly at liat yet? I've heard they have better stock than the other stores [emoji16].
