Did anybody go for Taka's double points yesterday? It's on till Sunday in case you're a Taka card holder and didn't know.
Bags-wise I was informed that only the Steeple and the fuzzy H-logo bags were available.
I dropped by. Nothing exciting. Maybe because it's month-end already, the stocks have been somewhat depleted. Was looking for shoes and belt but don't have my size. Mens RTW and accessories seem quite well stocked though.
 
anyone knows if those protective stickers sold for the hardware parts are any good? cos even with the usual protective stickers that come with the bag, my sa always advise me to remove. thus wondering. on one hand, heartpain with scratches, on the other, heartpain with oxidisation (if it happens)
 
How do you guys follow up with your SA when she doesn't reply your text? :"( Context: On my previous visit I wanted to get Oasis sandals but it was oos so I told her to let me know when there are stocks and she said ok, 2-3 months later I texted her to check on the status and she didn't reply.

If there are other things I want to look for, I’ll make an appointment and check on my request in person. Tbh though, no reply usually means no stock, or your SA was not able to grab for you. Each store receives very limited numbers for shoes, and I heard not the full range of sizes for each colour/design. Sometimes my SA shows me some shoes that he says just arrived and I’ll ask if the next size up or down is available if the fit is not quite right. Most of the time, don’t have or only have in another colour, and may be 2 sizes up instead. I have learnt to just give up on certain seasonal colours for orans, or just buy online if I see my size. There’ll always be nice colours in future seasons.

Maybe she’s on her off day. They don’t check work phone when not working. I waited 6 months for my gold oasis

Call the hotline to check stocks instead of waiting for the SA to reply. If there's stock, make an appointment to go down to the store ASAP. Either that or just get it online :)

I just go to the store; I think it's sometimes hard for an SA to remember everything their client wants, especially when they have so many to take care of.

Nowadays I don't really have a wishlist, I just head down and see what catches my eye. I'll admit that it's a pretty dangerous thing to do cos I end up buying more than I intend to. :facepalm:

I would go in person if possible as per @lilflobowl, @Peargood , and @lovejoysunshine . When I was last in Singapore (Liat), there was nothing in my size. My mom shops there, and she reports the same. If they don’t respond, chances are they don’t have ir or thet are getting so many texts, they cannot keep up or off, as per @eggieggi. H does not give them extra time to go through a ton of text requests,an and corp. Prefers that they prioritize clients who come to the store. My NY SA told me that shoe SAs tend to swoop up all the merchandise for their clients Bf it hits the floor. I don’t know if Singapore is like this, but I would imagine so.

They do. Once new stock comes in SAs swoop in and reserve perceived hot items for their client portfolio. I've been told this by a couple of SAs at Liat. A "new" note also is that for B/K/C you can't jump the queue regardless of spend; they're going down the list for offers as well.
 
Sharing my latest baby, just got this last night! My SA called me that he has something for me...went down, I was not expecting it as I am waiting for a b20 I requested. He asked if I wanted a K..I said "let's see!"
Here she is, lovely gorgeous k20 noir in matte alligator.

Congrats! Were you waiting for a b20 in alligator as well? I wonder what happens if you don’t like the k, as I suppose it would be hard to reject if the bag is in front of you? My SA would text to ask me if I like what she has for me first, before going down.
