I really enjoy using my Chase sapphire preferred card for H shopping. The points can transfer to hotel or airline miles. I just did a point transfer to Marriott with their 50% bonus deal. For $600 worth of points, I booked the hotel that would cost me over $1500. The points won't expire in the bank, so even if you travel once per year, it would be a nice option to have.
