I am petite. 5’2” and wear a 34-36 in H. I tried on the XS but the sleeve part was about an inch above my wrist and we all thought it was too short. The body of the poncho was very similar though. We also thought an oversized fit looked more chic, because that’s very important lol. The material feels very utilitarian and according to the website is a cotton bonded fabric with waterproof membrane. It’s a little stiff, not like nylon or polyester, but feels very sturdy. It also has an adjustable hood and big pockets! Definitely a practical piece!

Thank you for sharing.
I was looking at this a few days ago in the store but didn’t ask to try it on. I assumed it would be too big for me, like all other H ponchos. So glad to know that it could possibly fit me. I’m only 5ft.
I’ll def try it on next time I go in.

Does anyone have this jacket? If you do, is it stuff and is it heavy? I need a lighter softer leather jacket for travel. I tried the quilted one and I couldn’t even bend my elbows
Bumping this post as I have the same question (and dilemma). I don’t like to request transfers or online orders unless I’m quite certain I want the piece. Hope someone has it already 😊

I haven’t seen your poncho irl but I’m guessing it’s the same fabric as a 3/4 length hooded coat I got several years ago that was also from the equestrian line. The stiff material hasn’t softened over time but it really functions well as rain gear and is very hard wearing.

Has anyone tried this Mosaique belted coat? I wonder how it fits on petites. The sleeves looks too long even on the model but I love its mosaique pattern and color. I wonder if H would do some sleeve alteration on this one.

I purchased size 34 (my regular size at H) last week. It still is roomy and slightly oversized but I didn’t want alterations at this point which would have been possible (I had asked about both sleeve length and the back). The sleeves could be a bit shorter, but are not as pronounced as the website picture makes them appear. Apologies, I only have one picture available that I took quickly after returning home.

Thanks for the reply. The coat really fits you well. 😍 May I know your height? I’m about 5’2” and also a size 34 in H but the sleeves might be too long on me.

I have to admit I prefer my sleeves to be a bit longer as I freeze easily (and H just messed up a coat I had purchased and the sleeves are too short now, hence, I am hesitant to leave anything for alterations at this point). I am 5’3” and quite slim. However, my arms and legs are proportionally long for my height (if that is even possible). I would say they could ideally be 2-3cm shorter, but again, based on the construction of the jacket that should be a pretty straightforward alteration.

To anyone who owns this H long-sleeve cardigan, how is the quality and how has it held up over a long-ish period of time? Any pilling? This will potentially be my first RTW piece  thanks in advance!View attachment 5923252

I believe this is that cardigan in a different color; I actually happen to be wearing it today

Pretty sure this is a new season (2024ss) piece though so I don’t know yet what would happen long long-term; I got mine a month or so ago and have worn it a couple times. But it’s very good so far; a nice and thick cardigan.

Thank you!! Omg I LOVE it on you in this color!
I also have it in a different colour and I love it! Very cozy, nice cut (although oversized). I’ve got a little pilling under the arms but I think that’s natural as it’s where the fabric rubs. I really like H woollen wear.
Ahh yeah I see! A little bit of pilling is expected. But it’s quite the investment piece so I wanted to make sure :)
