Bangkok has already started and will be ended tomorrow...........I bought myself a lot of winter items including a very nice priced (and also nice details as usual for all H stuffs) full leather bomber jacket......... I cannot wait to use them when I get back to Sydney for this winter coming up...........

I got one as well hermesfsh, I am not going though. I hope those that do find things they like :smile1:

Yes would love to see what others buy/the type of things available. After seeing the other thread about RTW (along the lines of "does it fit you?") I'm thinking this sale is not for me! ;)

I love love love H leather especially SLGs and bags, but these never go on sale, they only increase in price! Still, with the recent price hike, the sale should seem like even more of a bargain! :p

Sounds lovely! Are you able to post pics or say how much it was reduced by? Would love to drool over the jacket!

^^think a uk member mentioned it the other day - cant remember thread but no details were given on location or times...........

wondering - do they sell just last seasons or is it last seasons and older?? (do they only have one sale on rtw per year??)...........

Have heard that usually it's the previous 2 seasons of Ladies and Mens RTW and shoes; so this time it would be, S/S 2009 with 40% discount and A/W 2008 with 60% discount. No bags, scarves or accessories strictly RTW, or so I was told!
:smile1:

RTW sale in Bangkok is reduced by 40% for newer season and 60% for the older season.......... I paid THB 88,000 for my full leather bomber jacket and THB 4?,??? for cotton with leather detailed bomber jacket...... I think it is such a great bargain as the bomber jacket is so classic IMHO......... I have attached a few pictures of my Jackets as well............

This is correct, the twice a year sales carry the 2 preceding seasons' RTW, hats, gloves and shoes for both ladies and men at 40% and 60% discount.

^^^^^^^Lucky you, you'll have to let us know if it's any good. I'm on the look out, but I think it's a very long shot, for a Damier shawl from A/w 2008 RTW in golds/brown/orange/green combo. Another one I missed ! :noggin:
I can't pop along though, it would be a couple of hours for me to get there, but I would go if it was good.

Haha, my invitation arrived 5 minutes ago... the snow around here has meant we've not had post for the past week!
I think it's a little late for me to make plans to go to the sale now.

I've just got back from sale - empty handed!... Lot of shoes and clothes. I few hats and gloves. It was pretty busy and you needed to really dig in and rummage which is not one of my favourite sports! - don't think i have the killer instinct!

I know the feeling, I don't like sales where you have to rummage. Did anyone mange to get to the London sale and if so was it worth the effort?
