That is really terrible. The sales folks should be aware that these additional straps are intended to fit only specific styles since that now seems to be the case. I don’t think many are aware because from what I’ve heard, these straps have been marketed as being for all bags with a shoulder strap loop. I’m so sorry for your inconvenience and disappointment.

lala28 i would love these but i already have Carmens in these colours..le sighhI have yet to see a real selection of these straps in my local H... so sad 
because I love some of the ones I’ve seen on IG and tpf. It seems like boutiques in Asia started selling them a year ago and even the Ala Moana H in Hawaii said they received their strap inventory earlier last year and were all sold out by the fall. My local H only just started receiving straps but not the whole variety. I’ve been stalking the H.com site but it seems that my timing has been off and everything is sold out before I even log in! Anyway, I’m liking these straps quite a bit more than I expected. It makes my “old” bags feel “new” again! The price point is a bit OT (about $1000 for the canvas Sangle cavale straps and about $2000 for the all leather Tressage cuir straps), but so is everything else H! Lol.

They are so hard to find! I keep on thinking if it’s worth it, especially the tressage. I am falling out of love with my Kellys and I need to

Yes, this is a much more economical way to fall back in love with my kellys (versus buying a new bag!)
I really love the braided straps also! They are so hard to find. I have only ever seen 3, and 2 were not the size I was looking for.

In January I purchased my 1923 Bolide (Blue Indigo) and fell in love with the minimalistic style. However there were times I wished I could dress it up with a colourful strap. Although I own several Fendi "Strap You" straps, I really wanted an Hermes strap. My boutique only had 105cm, but I don't wear bags this big as crossbody and only wanted an 85cm length, as a shoulder strap or as a decorative strap. With the warmer weather, I really craved a colourful strap even more.
I searched the H.com website (Canada) for months until I finally found this strap. It was a long journey as I needed GHW and 85cm. The Canadian website was limited in this combo so I am so happy to find what I was looking for!!!
I am already enjoying my bolide so much more, and even prefer this bag now over my Kelly (strangely I don't like this shoulder strap with my Kelly (black/GHW) , but I am also someone that likes to hand-hold my Kelly without any strap attached.
