well..
I'm new to this blog and I'm really curious. I own everything else except Hermes and I would like to buy birkin 35. It doesn't seem like it's possible to buy one either in NYC or LA Hermes boutique. There's a waiting list and heard you cannot even choose size or color. I might sound like total naive but I just want to know how much it is if I were to buy any color in any regular leather ( not exotic, crocodile or python etc) with either shw/ghw. I mean without tax, what's the regular price? Please give me some idea so I can shop better. I'm actually thinking about going to Paris to get one too. need all of your Hermes experts' help![]()
Price increases across the board in the new year, straight from the horse's mouth:Has anyone heard of an upcoming price increase?
Was at FSH a few days ago and DH was trying on a watch. Told SA that he wasn't going to buy it immediately but wanted to try it on first and think about it. SA said there will be a price increase (I think he said Jan 1 but not sure). I asked if it'd be only for watches and jewelery, and he said it'd be on everything. Has anyone heard something similar? I'm not sure how truthful it is since maybe he just wanted to convince DH to buy right then and there instead of waiting.

Reuters) - Hermes (HRMS.PA) plans to raise prices next year, partly in response to the rising cost of silks and leather, the French luxury group said on Friday as it posted forecast-beating first-half profits.
"You can indeed expect price increases, which as always we want to be moderate," said Axel Dumas, who will take over from Patrick Thomas as chief executive of the company when he retires next year. Dumas did not give details.
