So, it didnt work out. They did not have either. However, DH looked at the Kelly and the Brikin and decided he would rather get me a Birkin. He was not a big fan of the way the kelly looked. He thought, I would need white gloves to with it. He will go on other trips to Paris and will try again.

As a consolation for me, he got me a Blue Jean Kelly wallet and a Chanel "Kelly" bag.

Sorry to hear that the Birkin didn't work out for you, but at least you have a new Kelly wallet to tide you through until the next trip that DH makes!

Why not look thru the reference section in the meantime, so that you have a better idea of what colors / leathers you want? This way, if DH is armed with a more comprehensive list the next time round, the higher his (and yours!) chances of scoring a Birkin.
