From what I have read here, Paris is the place for bags. DH, is in london on business. He said he is willing to make the trip to paris for me to get one, but he would be mad if he went for naught. What do you think? Should I send him? Risk his "wrath" if it doesnt work out?

I think I just want a black kelly. I am getting too excited even thinking about it. Are the odds good that they will have one.

Black kelly should not be a problem, black birkin yes. You can call the store and for Kelly bags, I think they might even hold it for you if you are making that journey.

I was in Paris the beginning of April, they have plenty of Kelly bags in a variety of sizes and colors. He just needs to ask an SA to check the computer. The store on King George also has plenty and very accommodating staff. To get a birkin he would need to be there early when the store opens, the 35's and 30's go fast but they seem to still have 40's and bigger throughout the day. (I got a 30 pelouse swift birkin).

Do they have Birkins Saturday AM as well, or is it a deliveray thing that only happens during the week?

Send him!!!! It's worth the risk!They have plenty of Kelly bags and typically have Birkins in 40s. I was lucky enough to see a 35 and a 30 B and bought myself a 36 HAC. Good luck! He may be annoyed by the schedule though - in at 10:30 and then again early afternoon!

He should be able to find you a BJ or Black Kelly without any problems. Make sure if they don't have it at FSH, see if the SAs can call George V to see if they have it. It's much cheaper in Paris than here. Good luck!

I wasn't there on a Saturday but I would imagine they would still have a delivery all the same. I think the 32 kelly was 4800 Euro and the 35 5200 Euro. The 30 swift birkin was 5200 Euro and if my memory serves me correctly the 40 birkin togo was 6200 Euro.
