Hermes Paris Summer Sale 2020

Thanks for Info. I just called Hermes in France to ask about the summer sale, they had no information at all and wouldn't confirm either way. However I have seen news reports saying that the official soldes period has been pushed back June to begin on 15 July for four weeks ("sales" are only allowed in France twice a year during the soldes period, in January and summer). Given that 15 July is only a month away, I think that JA_UK must have the right information and that there won't be a summer sale this year.
Soooo January 2021 should be a big one as there should be a big backlog of merchandise. That soldes period is due to begin on 6 January 2021, I wouldn't expect Hermes to confirm that as the first date of the sale for quite a while but most of the time the Hermes sale begins on the first day of the soldes.
Guys I do know that there was VIP sale for Hermes in Paris but only people living in Paris were invited. My friend who lives there went to the sale but it was very very quiet. Hopefully they can make up for it in January.
Yes same venue. She got an invitation but she does live in Paris and long time customer.

Just an update to this. I got it wrong and there was no summer Hermes sale in Paris so far. I did think my friend had gone to it but that was my own confusion it seems! Please disregard the above post. Lets hope for the best in January 2021.
There was a VIP sale 2 weeks ago in Paris. They checked very strictly if you were invited (to be allowed to go upstairs, then at a counter with a matching list, again in order to enter the sale zone, and one last time before paying. The day I was invited, the sale lasted for 5 hours. I came during the last hour, it was very calm, a true pleasure, I was alone most of the time. Items on sale were the same as usually (hoped for some bags... but no)

I went there for a shawl, and I'm proud I managed to limit myself to this (a Rocabar cashmere 140 shawl, in grey and mint).
I guess I've been invited because I spent an important amount within a short period of time.
If I got invited, I’m ready to leave immediately with my passport, covid vaccine card, mask, credit card, and figure out a place to stay when I land. Haha
