Paris sample sale reveal!

Home after my trip to Paris for the sample sale. Nine 90 cm silk scarves, one men's 140 cm cashmere scarf and 8 neckties. I'm no expert on the scarves, I picked colour lines along what my friends had asked for and that I thought were pretty. Beautiful scarves! You did well.

Beautiful! I love the colors:heart:

I bought 2 click clack bracelets. Was surprised to see them on soldes! Wasn't willing to stand in lines, so will go back tom morning without coat (not willing to wait for coat check lines either). What a rush!

Wow! What colours are the clic clacs? How log was the line? Thanks! I plan to check it out tomorrow too.

Went today at 10:45 am:
Great selection of CSGM including Mars, MeM, CdC, FeP, CCaP...all in several cw's.
The line for the jewellery was very long, because every person had 15 min time for choosing. They had a lot of printed enamels, Calèche and Even Clic Clac (for eg black/gold). Also few leather bracelets and some beautiful horn necklaces.
Found also some men's scarves (Tampon Graphique in the grey cw!)
Have to get some sleep now on my way back home with the Thalys. Will post pics later...

Hi!

I just came back home from the Hermès sales in Paris. I go there for almost 6 years. Every time I buy scarves but not this time.
I came home with a beautiful enamel bracelet and a pair of cufflinks for my BF. Very reasonable, ins't it? :graucho:

All was 50% off. There was a lot of people and there is special queues for scarves and jewelry.

Now about my purchases, first the bracelet: Coup de fouet model in 62cm, paid 288e for it (575e in store). And the cufflinks in turquoise at 198e (395e in store).

If you have the opportunity, you must go to these sales! The atmosphere is nothing like in the store but you can find some great deals.

Thank you for letting me share!

Wow! Didn't see the cuff links!

They gave me only 10 minutes to look at bracelets, so I'm going back tomorrow. I got pastel colors with silver. A pinkish and a purplish clic clac. One med and one narrow. Super cute! Good luck to everyone!

Had a great time at the sale. The last sale that I went to was a few years ago. That year, the sale took up half the space that this years did. Was part of the first group through the door yesterday so there was a great selection. There was some running when we were first let in to the sale. Security tried to calm everyone done, but there was definitely some shoving. There were also some problems with people cutting in line. An announcement was made while we were waiting that anyone caught cutting in line would be kicked out. I saw someone try to cut in line while I was waiting in the cashmere section and people were very quick to report her.

I made the mistake of heading straight to the 90 carres. There wasn't much there that caught my eye and there was a long line by the time that I reached the cashmeres. There were tons of cashmeres in different colors and designs. (Sorry, I can't remember the names. I was so focused on the ones that I had my eye on that I didn't pay attention to what else was available.) I was super excited to see the maxi twillies. I had been eyeing the Brazil ones in store but wasn't sure if I could make them work. On sale, they were a no brainer. There were only a few twilly designs to chose from and I grabbed some of the last two. There were a lot of scarf rings available.

I'm happiest about the black Clic H. I did not see them at the last sample sale that I had visited. I had actually been planning to buy one at the store, but this saved me some money. There were lots of enamel and leather bracelets to chose from as well. stocks on PM bracelets were running low by the time that I reached the counter.

There was tons of ready to wear, shoes and boots. I saw some women with over tens pairs of shoes!

Not much selection in homeware. Gloves were mostly gone by the time that I got there. There was a gorgeous pair of black croc gloves, but they are not practical for me at all.

I picked up a fuchsia Brazil maxi twilly (162 euros), black cashmere New Libris scarf (471 euros), fuchsia fleurs et papillon cashmere scarf (498 euros), black Clic H (248 euros), and bleu Indien Clic Clac H (273 euros) (both with ghw). I had problems uploading the pics. :shucks:

Overall, I had a lot of fun at the sale. Met some nice people while I was waiting on line. Not sure that I will be ready to wake up so early again for the summer sale, but I'll definitely be back next year.

Congrats, Eltana! I really like the cufflinks. What a great score!

Heehee these are the same cuff links that my husband passed on! I guess they were meant to be yours! :D

I went in at 11am today. Had to queue for almost an hour to see the bracelets and there wasn't much left. But they still had a nice selection of scarves and the queue was much shorter. I got an indien bleu clic H and two la promenade de platon 90cm scarves in two cws. very happy!
