I saw a gorgeous deep blue blazer on the rack at my Hermes boutique and it fit pretty good with beautiful H fabric lining. It costs around $2,700 I believe.

Are the blazers (RTW in general) from Hermes worth it? It's definitely beautiful. Just wondering if anyone had insight beyond the look of it. I don't mind spending a good amount on blazers because they should last forever...

Hermès rtw is great quality. The kind of quality many, many designers used to have before they all started cutting one small corner at a time... The general quality is much lower today compared to 20 years ago.

This is great to know. You mean the general quality of OTHER brands right, is lower?

Damn Hermes taking all my money :(

yes but you should know because of the price it may be equestrian wear its beautiful and generally a bit more classic they fit snug and bit less expensive .........

Thanks. Yeah I've noticed that about the majority of their clothing. Classic fit. Though that particular blazer looked good as a 46, I'm going to have her transfer a 44 to compare if they even make one.

Well... I wasn't buying Hermès 20 years ago, but their quality today is excellent. I meant that the general level of quality among most brands has fallen. For example Prada has really deteriorated badly.

I own a blazer from hermes and I must say I have received more compliments than I can remember on how handsome it looks. Definitely worth the investment :)

Mmm thanks. I really want it now :(

ferrip: I can try to take one tomorrow! It's not Navy blue but a tad bit lighter, perhaps a dark tealish blue? Just neutral enough to be a go-to blue blazer. It's got H logo lining. It's not in the runway booklet in the store. My SA told me RTW can be transferred so hopefully she finds a store with a smaller size.

I would love to see it! I wanna know if it's the same one I was spying on!!! =) Thanks for any intel, and I hope they find it in your size!

Is it the one in Le Monde? I think that one is gorgeous!

Not worth it, Hermes isn't known for RTW or suits to be specific, so you're just buying it for the brand..just my honest opinion.

However, if you've got extra money to spend then by all means!
