Hi All,

I would love to have some comments regarding these jumping boots. They are quiet expensive and want to know your thoughts on these boots. Thanks!

1. Are they worth it?
2. Easy to wear w clothing?
3. Easy to slip on?
4. Does it count towards your purchase for a bag?
5. Any personal issues with the boot?

My thoughts below
1) yes! They are sleek and beautiful and can make an outfit.
2) yes! I wear with jeans, skirts, leggings. I’ve worn them to work, out to eat and around the town. They are surprisingly versatile and can be worn dressed up or down.
3) they are not as easy to slip on as boots with zippers but easier than stretch boots (is Stuart Weitzman highlands or 5050’s).
4) in my boutique shoes definitely count. When an SA sees your interest in items outside bags, scarves and SLG’s it counts even more.
5) I’m actually selling my well loved boots due to a back injury that only allows me to wear certain shoes with my orthotics otherwise I would keep them. I love my boots but just can’t wear them anymore but I got a lot of use out of them.

Did you take true to your size or size up?

I just got these and love them! I’ve worn them out a few times now and didn’t find them that hard to break in. (No blisters even though I wore them for a full work day from the get-go.) They fit true to size for me and they were actually relatively easy to slip on (for a boot with no zips plus I don’t have small calves) and to walk in. (I did add anti-slip soles on the bottom first).

Only thing is they are extremely hard to get out of. My SA had to help pull them off when I tried on in-store and even with her help, it was quite challenging. The SM was wearing hers (which she got a few weeks before) and showed me how she gets in and out of her relatively new boots by stepping on the heel edge using her other foot. I am able to tug them off at home on my own, albeit with quite a lot of effort - and I’m hoping it will be easier once I’ve worn them in.

Jumping boots are 100% handmade, best to try them in person with socks you normally wear. I took mine in my “comfy” regular size, little bit roomy but I have narrow feet. They aren’t for everyone tho because of the calf area as many having issues of shaft area being too tight or too tall. They do come in two different versions (regular vs wide). Also box leather is stiffer than swift leather boots.

This helps! I have normal calf’s so not skinny but not wide. I just heard people saying they were in comfy so I was worried as I really want them. I haven’t been able to find a boot that has same shape.

I am assuming you have regular sized calves? Are they readily available?

Without reading other comments yet, you might want to add a 6th question - Easy to Slip Out? To which I will say no. I had hot flashes trying to take them off in the store after trying them on. It's the only reason I didn't buy them despite how stunningly chic they look. At that price point, I need such boots to come equipped with some AI to know when to slip themselves off my feet. HTH.

I got them at my home store (in Asia) and yes they had stock. I didn’t have to ask my SA to reserve them in advance for me. I have normal calves, not especially thin or thick. I don’t tend to have too many problems getting knee boots. I did get the Asia fit though so shaft is shorter than the European version.
