I love and have both! JdN is warmer and lime is cooler so I think it will depend on which type is more your shade (wardrobe, skin tone, etc.)

Here are some side by side comparisons of what I have next to me now in some different leathers. The B is in JdN; the horse coin purse / half of the bracelet is lime.

And one more - GHW on lime for the Kelly compact wallet.

HTH! As a huge yellow lover I have foin, lime, JdN, amber...and enjoy all of them (and I know there are still other yellow shades too!) :smile:

do you find your amber hard to pair? i have been after lime but have been offered an amber, i am so confused because both the colors are so different

@carabelli888 I already replied in DM :)

@Lemon&lime unfortunately my ambre bag is in a different country, but if you google lime vs ambre you can probably find comparison photos. Ambre is a much more muted / dark shade than lime. IMO it's actually probably a lot easier for many people to pair ambre than lime (which is bright and neon and very pop), especially if it's a large bag. Go see it on person & try it on!

But be aware that it has a green undertone. This is the same bag in a different light!

This is true, there is a green undertone. (I have a lime Kelly).
I was reading about yellow in these "color" sheets on pin interest and it distinguished between warm and cool yellows Jaune de Naples, kind of a yellow amber color, is clearly a warm yellow -- it's closer to Soleil than lime, that's for sure. Lime's green undertone makes it a cool yellow.

Lime is bright in a way that falls into line with the neon trend of 2018-19. It's not a real real neon color which IMO would be florescent. Lime looks good with clear bright colors -- a vivid violet, black, clear green, cobalt, and as a neutral, a light or medium gray. Jaune de Naples is a more complex color IMO that could go well with traditional autumn colors that are a blend of light and deep colors IMO think of leaves in brown and yellow, rust, deep greens, etc.

My vote goes for Lime, I was waiting for a MK II in this colour but was told that due to the pandemic, this specific combination won't be hitting my home store and was told that for the F/W j'aune ambre would be coming in, but I don't like that yellow...
