Hi TT, I was there a month ago, um, three times in two weeks! Love the place. The Director (Dennis) used to be at Wall Street, and he has some great SA's. Their silk sales lean toward mousses and cashmeres ... I don't know if that means they will have a lot or a little. Last month they had a good supply A/W. I bought my double wrap Rivale in a dark chocolate color which is not on the website or in my boutique, so I was happy about that. If will take you about 15 minutes to get to Fashion Valley from the airport and half an hour to find a parking space!
:hugs:
Thanks for the update. I have spoken to JD (?) on the phone. Is there someone I should ask for? Been waiting like everyone else for the KenC shawls ;-) Wanted the Russian Nesting doll scarf but they had sold the last one by time I called. Sigh....

I used to deal directly with Dennis a lot of the time when I shopped there. JD is nice. The last time I spoke with anyone from that store is when they called wanting me to drive over 200 miles round trip just to look at a bag. I asked them to send me photos before I made the drive and they refused. I offered to buy the bag outright without seeing it and have it sent to me, and they refused that as well. I did a lot of business with that store when they first opened, but after that I never bothered with them again.

They really are not all that helpful, and they really know how to lose good customers!

Oh good, I didn't know if we were allowed to post SA's names. Jason, LizBeth and JD are all wonderful. I hung out with them at the Grand Opening and they're kind and fun, and while shopping with them they are patient and helpful. Jason has a special place in my heart, although silk is LizBeth's metier. I'm going to email Jason right now and ask him to post your name by the phone with a note to that you may be calling on them. Alternatively, you can try Darra at Charlotte, who is very responsive. And as a total aside, try to get to Mr. A's for a drink and/or meal. It's the greatest view and a gas watching the planes land. http://www.bertrandatmisteras.com/
I hope you have a nice time in my home town, whatever you end up doing. :hugs:

Hermes coming to San Diego.........Fabulous. Just once, I'd like to walk into any Hermes Store and actually see a Birkin for sale. I see a lot of Kellys, but the only Birkin I've ever seen was a red Croc with Diamonds & white gold. I think it was almost $200,000. Maybe just a little out of my price range!LOL

Tillie46, are you in SD? I think I saw one when I was there several times in August. I guess I'm lucky to live in Manhattan with respect to Birkin sightings, but I'd rather be in SD.

Saw a beautiful 30 Birkin yesterday at the SAN store in the new Az. Color in a new leather they called Trekke??
Color sort of looked liked mud!! That said I sort of liked it
