They probably won’t discuss SLG inventory over the phone and might not be willing to hold it even if they have it for a brand new untried customer. The best success with Hermes can be found by being open to seeing what’s available and surprise choices that you may not even know exist. Definitely ask for the exact item you want (in person) but be prepared for the 90% likelihood that they don’t have it in stock and won’t know when they will get it. If you hit it off well with the SA (in person) they may be willing to look out for the item and alert you if it does come into stock in the future, but even that isn’t guaranteed. Hermes is either a go with the flow experience or a frustrating experience. JMHO.
