Sorry for this “noob” questions but any concerns with using knifes on the dinner plates? Does it scratch? I just ventured into H homeware and have acquired some gorgeous plates but have not dared to use knives with them

I recall reading on here about someone having a dinner party on the Mosaique Au 24 tableware and voiced concern about her guests sawing into the design with their steak knives  but in general they are quite hardy. Personally I handwash mine the odd time I may put into the dishwasher I never put them in the microwave due to the metallic properties on some of the designs I have but they do get used a lot and wear well and I've had no problems.

Hello guys, just wondering if any of you have seen this kind of packaging / cushioning? I know that Hermès has been changing their tableware packaging over the years and there are a few different types/materials especially for older, discontinued collections. But I’ve never seen this kind (two layers of cushioning with holes on the corner) before and wondering if it is authentic. It’s from an auction site and I am interested but am a bit hesitant. Any information is much appreciated! Thanks :smile:A4E48D8A-F0D2-4341-9C49-450FBFA39B93.jpeg1C6F8DCF-C87E-4BE8-9DDC-616A8F24CAF8.jpeg

Hi! I just received tableware from the mosaique platinum collection directly from the store yesterday and the packaging looks the same! I immediately thought of Swiss cheese haha C805555B-93BD-4468-ABAE-7DBCEA77182B.jpeg

yes, my Voyage En Ikat and Mosaique presentation plates had the same packaging as yours. Enjoy your wares

Thank you so much. Is yours just one single piece or does it come with two layers of foams like mine? Many thanks ;)

Does anyone know what to do if you’ve chipped a piece off the rim? One of my BdQ cereal bowls has a tiny chip knocked off - probably from when I nested them on a too-high shelf. Short people problems.

Porcelain is pretty sturdy but I think I snicked the rim with the thicker base of another bowl while putting it away. So sad. I haven’t had the heart to use any of my pieces other than my coffee and tea cups since then.

I've been searching for Rallye 24 for the past six months and didn't have much luck...
Anyone still able to get them recently? I saw on social media that the factory in France is still producing them (to fulfill orders made long ago I suppose) but I couldn't get my SA to order them ever since this January.

And what collections do you guys think will be discontinued next? I'm so frustrated that Hermes keeps discontinuing collections every few years  I am eyeing for a few collections and am thinking that I should probably prioritize them and get those that are more likely to be discontinued first.... I think H Deco and Mosaiques au 24 are pretty safe (?) but I'm a bit worried about A Walk in the Garden and Chaine d'Ancre Platinum

Recently got lucky a few months ago and found the last of the Rallye where I live, in store at Hermes and really wish they would continue with this line. I'm currently using these two, to store my Hermes scarf rings.

I’ve been told that H Deco Rouge production has been suspended due to Covid, but to be honest even the other collections are equally hard to get (unless you just want the odd pieces) and they are supposed to be in production

I have noticed this too @_gelato_

I didn't know this so I might need to stock up on some of the H Deco plates if I can find them where I live @hsinn

I think the discontinuation is probably just wrong information. I asked around and was told that H deco is not discontinued but just suspended due to COVID:smile: or can you perhaps ask you SA as well and let me know if it is indeed being discontinued? Thank you:smile:

Yes I will do my own investigating, I am based in Dubai. So I will let you know what I can find out from my SA's and share in here.

This sounds correct to me - I just placed an order for H Deco table settings in black. I’m told it will likely take several months and H will first try to source but otherwise will manufacture to order. I asked about H Deco in July and my SA was reluctant to take an order then because of long delays. I think I will be waiting a little while but that’s the H experience
