Does anyone own the Bleus d’Ailliers teapot? I just recently bought one and noticed it didn’t come with the tea strainer. My other Hermes teapot seems to come with one inside. It just seems inconvenient to have to strain out the leaves before serving.

I own the mosaique line and the teapot also doesn't come with a tea strainer. Which teapot do you own that does? I asked my SA before and she always agrees it should come with one but unfortunately doesn't. So I'm looking around trying to find one for a perfect fit 🥲

Thanks for letting me know. I own the Soleil d'Hermes teapot which does come with one. I will join you in the search for one that can fit.

I own the Tressage Equestres teapot and it came with a strainer. At this price point, I would not be happy if it didn’t come with one. Maybe it depends on the shape of the pot.

This literally just happened back to back, and with not much effort, sadly, in my DH’s hands. He asked me to get “normal” plates now 😆🙈😭

Do you think microwaving them may cause this (these were supposed to be microwaveable to my knowledge). I have two others with small chips and our cleaning person broke a bread and butter plate last week from this set too, but she’s quite rough and pretty sure she caused the chips.

Feeling a little mixed to consider replacing them to only have then broken… I don’t think they even lasted a year. And it wasn’t even my kids that broke them!

@jenngu , I have h deco. No strainer and it drips. If anyone has found a strainer that fits, pls do post. Thank you.

@sparklehop. So sorry this happened to you. I thought soliel was supposed to be dishwasher and microwave safe, suitable for everyday. do they say microwave safe on the bottom?

H deco is not ETA: but what I have seems sturdy. They get used frequently (snacks); knocked around; and, machine washed

Yes they are supposed to be - but it happened right after microwaving so I was wondering if it made them more brittle. He plopped it into the sink versus placing it by hand… but didn’t expect it to break with such little effort

I’m so torn if I should replace them since no one else seems to be very gentle with their handling 🫠

I’m sorry this happened to you. I would recommend regular classic white plates for everyday use. And keep your Hermès one for special events like an anniversary, Thanksgiving, formal Christmas dinner, birthday, etc.

I have some H epopee plates and dishes which are also microwavable and dishwasher safe. And I have not had any issues like this and they’ve been used pretty regularly and put in the microwave and dishwasher for several years. I wonder if it’s just this model that is an issue?

how did they break if you dont mind sharing? I have a few items from the Soleil range which I bought especially because they are supposed to be easy care.

I loved these designs from the moment I saw them! Here are the Kaorumi pieces I've collected this summer. Trying to decide if I need the pineapple, too.

Info about artist and artwork from the Hermès website:

"Kaorumi is a collection of fruit ready to be tasted. Sliced kiwi, peeled oranges, and pomegranate wedges are all laid out on white porcelain, which accentuates their vibrant shapes. For this collection of 12 dessert plates and cake dishes, Ryo Takemasa drew the fruits with a compass and ruler before composing their delicate shades and textures. But, they've also been given an added twist: their perfectly symmetrical details and whimsical proportions transform a botanical study into a feast of fruits. Their colors are so fresh that the porcelain exudes the aroma and flavor of the fruit or, as it's known in Japanese, Kaorumi. Trimmed in gold, the collection is an invitation to share and celebrate poetry."

And, the artist's post regarding his designs:
