 Hi everyone! Long-time reader here to share for the first time. I recently ordered a few scarves, and wanted to share one that I haven't seen posted here yet. This is the 18-3-7 scarf in cw 09, tourterelle / rouge H / brique. I was kind of hoping the colors would be more muted in person, like they appear in the model shot, but the product image is definitely a closer representation - it's quite saturated. Still love it, though! I found this F/W collection to be heavy on the pastels and cool colors, which are not great for my warm coloring, so this one really jumped out at me. I think it goes nicely with all of the neutrals in my fall/winter wardrobe - ivory, beige, browns, tans, navy, green, burgundy...Thinking this one is a keeper, but I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Wow, I think the scarf looks stunning and I love the versatility of colour options the colours suit you and your wardrobe beautifully. I'm tend to shy away from patterned clothing and do sometimes find it hard wearing a scarf that looks too busy so the colour blocking and colourway, to me, looks particularly appealing. The belt is a great twist, where is the leather strap from.

I'm the exact same way! I generally wear very neutral outfits and a striped sweater is about as bold as I go for clothing, so scarves are really the only colorful thing I wear. I also gravitate towards the large scale, graphic/color block patterns for the same reason you described. I also really like wearing a silk scarf underneath a chunky turtleneck so that it just peeks out at the top - easy way to wear something bold and bright while still feeling like yourself :)

The belt is from Sarah Flint. It's from a few years ago, but I think they tend to bring it back in different color combinations every other season or so (it's reversible - mine is black on the other side). Hope that helps!

Hi Scarf Friends,
Wanted to share a few shots of Tulipomanie in Marine CW in case anyone is interested:smile: I succumbed to the temptation and ordered it. However, I will be sending it back (uups). While it is beautiful, GT format is not my thing at all (this is my first triangle). I miss the volume and weight of CSGM, as well as the options that different corners provide for drapes/knots. I am happy I gave it a try though:smile:

Thank you very much, @papertiger! If this was a CSGM, that would be a keeper; otherwise, I have to carefully consider cost/wearability aspect for myself:smile:...

I echo your sentiments - I tried this cw in store and thought it was beautiful but ultimately I like the feel of a big, weighty CSGM more and it helped that I already have similar colours in my collection.

Congratulations! It is spectacular

This is so fun. And am also loving it on the navy. It is the season of I may keep both for many of us haha

Sorry it didn’t work out. It looks so stunning on you though. I do think it feels kind of flimsy really. I’m not sure if it’s H’s product is thinner now compared to vintage or what. I guess also when we are used to the full 140 then it’s natural it would feel flimsy due to so much less fabric. I am a big girl too so the full 140 works much better on me, but for those petite ladies then I can see these triangles being perfect for their smaller frames.
This is also my first triangle to put around my neck. I am underwhelmed on quality and half the size for the price. If these were $650 I would be wayyyyy more on board. For this price I don’t really feel like it’s worth it for my wallet. However even with that said, I will have one triangle in collection and I have chosen this tulip because it’s stunning and I couldn’t even imagine a better mix of colors exists for me out there in future H lol
Adding to the conversation, @Ashanti_Rose, @GloWW0rM and @Nomad. I tried the blue Tulipomanie GT, too.

It is gorgeous.

I agree with the GTs feeling a bit thin, though, and being less versatile than the CSGMs. (Yet, it also turns out that my Zebre Pegase GT is, ironically, one of my most worn scarves. :shrugs:)

In the end, the deciding factor that lead me to return this beauty was the big "Hermès Paris" written near the main corner. I know that I would just constantly be fiddling with the scarf trying to hide it. I understand that others may not mind, but for me it was something that dissuaded me.

Some photos of Faubourg city 70. It is a cool design with the graphics but this cw is not love for me. And apologies for the white top with it. Doesn’t allow it to shine. But I’m ready for bed haha. Cw 2 framboise/vert d’eau/bleu

Rose thé Emile et un nuit cw 2 rose thé/vert/prune.
I think it does better on muted shirt 2. Needs a muted color.
I’m not sure I will keep it. I just love love my blue cw! This is a great soft set of colors, but might wait for another design with these colors.

I think the 70 design is charming but agree on the cw and as for the Rose Thé Emile on you-- it is just not as magical to my eye as the beautiful blue one you previously modeled! Thank you for sharing both @Nomad-- very very helpful to see real life pics....

Oh welcome to you @lumiloo and what a great choice! Congratulations! You are putting this back on the radar for me, especially this cw, which is lovely and so versatile. Love the various stylings and twins on the Sarah Flint scarf belt!!! I love it. Does yours reverse to white/cream? A definite keeper scarf. Congratulations and please share your others!!!!
Am in Paris and just purchased this beauty. Called Bagage.
I absolutely adire this design @SouthTampa! Congratulations.

I love hearing your thoughts on this @BlueLilac. I am a fan of the GT format often just as a less bulky CS layer for indoors, over a button up or tee shirt and for travel as well as the warmer winter climate in my New Orleans home. Like you, my ZP triangle is one of my most worn pieces! Are you not bothered by the Hermès/Paris corner on the Zebra Pegasus GT (see below)? I recall that was a similar disincentive with it at the time. I did keep the Tulipomanie in navy and am even eyeing the caramel! I do agree that the triangles are not a substitute for a yummy full 140 CSGM... I am curious in general about the issue of logo placement on scarves....

That’s such a good point, @LKBNOLA, and lovely pictures of both scarves.

I got the dark blue Zebre GT. The “Hermès Paris” font is smaller and in black. I feel that font size and low contrast make it blend in more and much less noticeable. Now I’ll be going back to the Tulipomanie CWs looking at contrast levels

ETA: I am also curious about everyone’s thoughts and experience with logo placement on scarves.

The caramel is just so stunning, too. If you do end up getting it I hope you will share mod shots.

@BlueLilac Actually, I had similar reservations, but not only regarding the Hermes Paris logo - but also the title very visibly printed - when I was draping the scarf over my shoulders. Just my personal preference where I like to drape them loose - and I just didn’t like that view of the scarf.. Both corners kind of looked odd to me when worn like that, so personally I didn’t feel it was worth for me to pay $910 for one gorgeous cowboy knot… plus, my cashmere collection is rather overflowing so I want to be very conscious re: cost/benefit relationship..

Thank you for posting all these photos. They really give a good impression on how interesting this scarf ties.

Hello all! I finally got around to taking some photos of the scarves I bought during my first ever boutique shopping trip this summer while on vacation in FL. I had so much fun and came away with too many beautiful scarves! Several are from past seasons, but here are some new season picks.
I was specifically looking for the Palonniers 70 in the ardoise/blue ciel and was thrilled to find it! I've been on a big 70cm scarf kick lately.

I chose between these 3 twillys but had been on the lookout for the Bleu Petrole Les Voitures twilly and did end up picking it.

For the 90s, the Guepards was one I didn't love online but did love in real life! I wish I had a boutique closer, it's amazing how much better many of the scarves look in person! I also picked up a Blue Tulipomanie, Au Mystere 24, and my personal grail the blue Zouaves Et Dragons 140 cashmere. I was shocked to find that one in store and had to grab it! These are all wonderful additions! But I must say that zouaves is magic! I love it. I was enabled by @LKBNOLA. If not for her modeling I never would have even looked at it. The modeling shots help so much. Like with your orange guepards  , you might be enabling me right now about it ha

The scarves look gorgeous on you - congrats on finding the ones you wanted and/or didn’t even know you wanted! That always happens when seeing them unfolded in front of you! The Guepards is lovely.

I also was inspired by @LKBNOLA !! Probably half of my scarves have been chosen after seeing her pictures! I did not expect to see the Zouaves in the store since it's an older one, and they had just gotten 1 blue one in the day before I visited, so it was fate!

I so agree about the modeling shots, this thread and the scarf of the day thread have been so inspirational for me (probably too inspirational if you ask my husband 😂)

I went to the boutique and bought this one today. Tried on a khaki shirt it's gorgeous. I hesitated with the blue cw... I'm waiting for the double face Mille feuilles de soie to decide (I hope it's the same blue). The pink mille feuilles was too light for me. The contrasted colors on this one are gorgeous and that coral...
