Hello, dear scarfies. I decided that I needed to focus on balancing all the blue and pink CSGM that have accumulated in my closet with a few more neutral (or neutral-ish) pieces this year. I am delighted with the two GTs I have (vert loden Jungle Love and navy Tulipomanie) and to that I added this Sous le Charme d'Orphee in cw 04 naturel/terracotta/marine. I was looking for something that would go with everything from denim, to a brown leather jacket, a teddy coat and a soft grey cashmere coat with a few puffer coats/vests as well. This fits the bill perfectly. The colors are really harmonious and softer and more pleasing than the photos, at least to my eye. This also works really well with gold, blue and orange bags. I am super pleased with this beautiful and practical shawl in a design I love! I don't think we have seen this one IRL life yet-- but thank you for letting me share!

You wear just about any colour beautifully, but I must say this cw of Sous le Charme d'Orphee looks particularly fabulous. Really loving the pops of bright blue and complimentary chestnut with all the ink/softer neutrals :loveeyes:

We were almost twins! I was sorely tempted when I tried it on, and I wasn’t helped by all of the complimentary commentary by random boutique patrons, but I kept to my resolve to wait for Oro Botanico. For the moment 😂

Oh my-- I am familiar with the problem @textilegirl! The Orto is so so so lovely but I am resolved to only one cw that will be unique among my current ones. I already have Faubourg Tropical and Leila au Bloc and Retour so I have the floral CSGM scene covered, right? Right? Of course right! For now. This was not on my radar until I looked at my coats and bags and a lightbulb lit up over my head!

Thank you-- I only slid down the CSGM slope fairly recently and I am still learning to be more discerning but this cw feels like it ticks a lot of boxes, not to mention the mythology connection which appeals to me a lot @papertiger! I really appreciate the comment :heart:

Would that the lightbulb turn off over my head, I’ve already got the CSGM Ombrelles Magiques in a very similar cw to your Orphee-the pale green hem even appears in the body of my shawl, along with a similar beige/brown overall feel. But even as I type this I’m identifying the differences in my head; we know the phone call that comes next do we not? 😂😂😂
