Thank you! I was very particular about my closet/office and the master bathroom; even though they're right next to each other, the windows cast light differently. Having photographed H things for the past 27 years, I definitely had ideas!!! I had to play with the paint colors to avoid casting yellow (which is what generally happens with most lighting).

I was hoping to see this cw, thank you for sharing the photos!

I agree the natural background does not pop like the navy or the vermilion. If those appeal to you more and make you happier, maybe choose one of those?

However, I really like the colours of the flowers on the natural base. It is very pretty. If you do not own a natural base Triangle yet, it might be worth considering, depending on your wardrobe.

I have a natural base Bal de soie with similar pastel colours, and I wear it surprisingly often, with black and colours that are a bit louder, to tone my look down. It seems to go with a lot. I would not however buy another similar natural base with pastels… one is enough 😋

I’m very pleased to contribute to the thread. I get plenty of use from the GT’s, I shouldn’t be so quick to dismiss the natural base. Most of my wardrobe is quite colourful and a somewhat muted GT might be an ideal fit……

The preponderance of naturel and Gris chine based shawls is getting old.

Your boys are all grown up! Time really flies, doesn't it? Glad all is well and that you will have some time to relax! I am hoping to get to H soon to try on some of these new scarves. I love the Folies because i don't have a "color pencil" type designs. H has done a few in past seasons, but I was always off buying other goodies to prioritize those. Now is my chance to jump on this creative format. Do you remember the Coloring Book hobby that was so big about ten years ago? This scarf reminds me of that (and of my dad who loves rainbows and hot air baloons.)
