This is Ivoire/ Orange/multicolore.

Although I love the design, I decided the ivory background was not for me ( nor my wardrobe). But the pink giraffe is very doable if you ask me 😊

I would have loved a cw with a darker (navy?) background…

Looks so pretty. Some of the light background scarves do me no favors either so I'll have to try. I know the Agent wouldn't work, I know the blanc would (H white is usually soft-white - not as soft as the mod shot online - that looks totally altered).

I could do another navy scarf too (I have plenty of other blues). I just think the whimsical design suits the lighter background colours. I still have to hunt down the orange Tulipomonie GT as the priority.

I am interested in seeing the LFdF "rainbow" scarf in cw 01. (Or the one with the green hem) It is such a fun, silly design. Reminds me of my 87 year old father who loves hot air balloons and rainbows. I don't have anything like it in my collection. I love how it looks like a very detailed colored pencil masterpiece. Reminds me of those map pencils we used back in my school days. It just emits so much happiness; I know I will smile when I see it in person.

I am also interested in the double sided MFdS, just not the blue one. (watch me end up with the blue one.) I think the first one we saw on this thread (which has some mauve colors in it) may be an interesting colorway. Certainly, nothing I have in my collection. I am also wondering how the one recently posted (cw03) with the ivory background is really lovely in the photo from a few days ago. It is a mystery until I can see these in person.

I am also intrigued with Virginie Jamin's "Emile and a Night". It reminds me of Alice in Wonderland, for some reason. The drawings are so whimsical and so different from her other designs. She is such a talented artist.
I can totally see the 01 "Rainbow Scarf" on you @Ladybaga-- but I think you will be the one lighting it up! On MFeS, the ivory is lovely and would be on my list too but for the conflict of that "vanille" with white/silver hair!!! I 100% agree that Emile et Un Nuit is a delight and something of a sleeper till you start looking closely. I can totally see that one in your "scarfdrobe"-- and Jamin has done nothing really like it so there's excitement in that, too!
Thank you for the first mod shots of this beautiful design @LKBNOLA! I agree that the blue is not standing out enough considering your beautiful and extensive collection of blue DF.

I cannot wait to see some of the other cw though!
Thank you @redheaddem. I was disappointed that in the darker side of the blue, some of the details really are buried and in the lighter side the whole design is quite muted-- one can barely see the little horses! I love Hidaka's delicacy as an artist so I hope another cw will be a better showcase of her work...

This looks so pretty. I adore the colors-- especially on your sweater @redheaddem. Thank you for showing us a real life photo. I do believe most if the cws in this design are light-ish? I chose the blue because the combination with violet was unlike anything I have but I do very much like this and the argent backgrounds...

Good luck on your Tulipomanie hunt and I think any pink giraffe would be delighted to go home with you @papertiger! (and thank you for the codes!)

Thanks for showing this one. The sketchy details do show up very nicely. I am holding out hope for the pinky one with the green (!) giraffe which hasn’t appeared online anywhere yet as far as I can tell.

Adding this Émile et Une Nuit c/w 03 Craie/rouge H/marine to the three shown for reference by @Nomad. This was on the EU sites for a short time.

Very pretty, but too much white in this CW to be a winner. Orange hem is a nice touch.

Thanks so much for posting pics. It is such a beautiful watercolor-y sketch-y ( yup made up words) whimsical design. I love all the wisps of color all around you in ties.
I personally have issues with white backgrounds and wouldn’t order one, but I love this still. I ordered the blue one after lkb showed hers. Cant wait to see it.
Hopefully more cw’s are coming and crossing fingers for a navy for you.

It’s exciting to get modeling shots from the new season ::yahoo::yahoo:

Thank you so much for sharing this scarf ! I think the blue one might be especially lovely on you. Also crossing my fingers for a darker color way.

Dear @Hanton, thank you for posting this! I have-- in recent seasons-- seen only one other "craie" 90 silk and that was a lovely Isola di Primavera which I do have. For those of you worried about the blanc, vanille or argent backgrounds not being quite right, I really recommend that you at least try the craie-- it is a marvelous color and like many light backgrounds it will take a bit of its "tone" from the colors of the design... kind of like cooking with tofu

Yes, tofu needs all the help it can get! Here is a mod shot of the craie.
