Hey all. I got my Orto 09 today so I am adding to the pictures.
The modeling was taken in natural window light. And the flat lay was lamp light tonight.
The coloring-in of color within the design is amazing. The grounding dark brown is perfect. The caramel? or orange cuit? is a wonderful addition. The lilac has my heart. Obviously the blue is wonderful in combo with the browns.
But if being 100% honest I am not a huge fan of the rose hem, but not enough to return by any means. I would have liked a brown or caramel?/? orange cuit color that is in it too, or the lilac. I have so many pink hems in my csgms so it feels repetitive for me, and perhaps me alone on this thinking  . I feel like the warmer colors on the hem would have grounded this scarf into a perfect neutral scarf.
It’s a stunner of nature detail. I love the big leaves in it.

It’s really beautiful, @Nomad and is stunning on you in particular! The pink and purple in it make it so soft and pretty. I hear you on the pink hem but I still like it. It seems to pull out more of the pink in the scarf. I wish I could pull off these colours as well as you do. I can’t wait to see more of it on you.

Sous Le Charme D'Orphee CSGM (244177S08 Caramel/Caban/Noisette)

I finally got my hands on it because, frankly, I was mildly obsessed. Even more so than with the caramel Tulipomanie. What can I say? I think this is going to be a favourite/go-to. As suspected, it is an extremely versatile neutral and goes with pretty much anything in my closet. What did surprise me upon seeing it in real life was that it is more "dark and stormy" than expected, but I should have anticipated this because all the colours are quite deep. It is truly neutral, so no yellow in the caramel, you can see that well in the 2nd and 3rd shots, with direct daylight hitting it. I cannot fault this shawl; it is perfection for me and I cannot wait to wear it out! No modelling pics but plenty of detailed real life shots for those interested. All taken in natural daylight.

Here you can really see the blue in caban (direct light) but it can just pass for a soft black in most lighting, as well as the beautiful noisette and the very much neutral caramel:

And this is what we call a very successful, versatile scarf...it goes with just about anything!! Taking a page out of @elaineiwhite's post, I photographed it with a plethora of colors from beige, navy, pine green, burgundy, caramel, off white to black and even a tweed. It also goes with Khaki/Olive, etc. but we can only get so much in a photo. I couldn't be more pleased

This CSGM is absolutely stunning. I have it in naturel, terracotta, and marine, but I think I like this one a little more. I haven’t found it in Europe so far.

I'm in Europe and it's just trickling in. Not on the various European sites just yet but I asked for one to be put aside in store last week and was notified just this Wednesday that it was in. So had it within a week.

For any Canadians in the group, I just saw that the Canadian website now has the Orto Botanico in colourway 5 (Vert Loden / Naturel / Encre), in addition to the 2, 6, and 9.

Does anyone have any mod shots of the 5? From the website, it looks like there isn't much contrast between the vert loden and the encre; however, I would be interested to see what it's like in real life...

Thanks so much for the shots. It is so beautifully rich! I have been thinking of this one for a long time. I am not a closet full of neutrals girl, but am trying to add more pieces. I can’t wait to see a tied up shot of it soon.

I think @redheaddem posted a few mod shots of this CW - check the thread?

I agree! I currently own the CW 8, and I adore it! But the CW 5 almost comes across as a black + naturel scarf. Hopefully we get some IRL pics soon! :)

I snatched it from the Canadian site, will post pictures when it arrives. I am also waiting for the caramel coloured cw, to compare with the gorgeous L'orphee that Julian f. posted.

What a gorgeous shawl, the colours are so harmonious! Since you also have the caramel Tulipomanie, would you say that the background colour is similar? To my eye, D'orphee reads lighter, but itis hard to tell w/o side by side comparison... I am waiting for the caramel L'orto to appear and half hoping I would not like it so I do not end up with three caramel scarves...
