Misc but I tried to test out some different styling with Pantin City yesterday. Definitely inspired by cookibird’s collage

I love the colorway, it’s so rich and moody.

Also for fun: mashed up with Parade en Fanfare and Hermes Story. H story isn’t this season, so my apologies there, but thought it was interesting to show them all together.

Hi Melow!
I have Fanfare in this colorway and love it! My Pantin City is a different colorway, so I guess it depends on scale. (Fanfare is more fanciful and larger in design, whereas Pantin City is more "serious" and smaller in scale.) Which one are you leaning towards? Came back to add that if I could only have ONE, I would pick Pantin City because it is nothing like what I already have. I think it will be so easy to style and tie, too.

Awwww thank u so much for ur input here! I love them both and think that it will be easy to wear fanfare more tha pantin. Pantin seems very rigid… giving me the mens wear vibe? But also love it for how clean it looks! So torn!!!

I fell in love with the aerial perspective of the city and the tiny cars. (So cute) I really love my Fanfare because of the rich colors and "Charley Harper" style of animals for fall. It's a very happy scarf.

For me, it would definitely be Parade en Fanfare but then again I am fairly wild about that design in general. I have it now in a twilly and gavroche also, and am planning to get a second 90 if another colorway works out. I just love the art deco flare of it.

Pantin City is probably more unique tho, in terms of Hermes scarves and designs they’ve had over the years (the fact that it has some strong similarities to Animapolis not withstanding). It does have a bit of a masculine, edgy look - which could be a reason to choose it.

I hope that helps!

that cw pf Pantin city looks stunning on you! Do I see it right that it has a bit of lavender color in it? Or is it more of a light pink? I still cant decide which CW I like for myself but this one is one of my top choices!

Thank you for the mash up shot, very helpful indeed. I have been thinking about that Pantin City cw but wondered if it was too similar to the Hermes Story (which I already have).

Thank you! Yes it’s a lavender tone in the mix there. That color, plus the tone of some of the blues gives the scarf a wonderfully subtle ‘purpley’ feel. Good luck deciding!

Definite colorway relationship but if you’re looking to be enabled, I would say the design between the two are sooo different that both could be justified.

I definitely do not need all three… one could argue Pantin City and Fanfare are duplicative because they are both modern, blocky designs. But I love them all hahaha so there it is.

I cannot believe that it’s time again for new offerings from Hermes! I’ve been out of commission and feel so far behind.
My purchases so far…..

-En Liberte is a beauty and I'm sure that this colorway will not be my only one. :P
-Fanfare 45cm gavoche in a fun little colorway suits me more that the 90cm silks in this design. I almost sent this little one back actually.....the neon in the center takes some getting used to.....
Fanfare 65 from the Men's - I was tempted by all the gorgeous mod shots in the thread!
Sangles en Zigzag large Men's Losange - I have several women's losanges but this will be my first one from the men's collection. I love it best with the gray sweater.

I did send back my only 90cm purchase - Pantin City in cw01 - I think the gray/white/blue colorway would suit me better.

Good morning, Scarfies! One would think that after buying not one but THREE cws of the Chorus Stellarum 70, I would be immune to this design but I was helpless in the thrall of this beautiful and very unusual "vert argile" or green clay color! @eon showed all three that are available but here it is. Cowboy fold to show the color and then some additional knots...

Wow, the vert argile is beautiful on you, @LKBNOLA. So complimentary to your hair and skintone! I also love that the hem is a brighter tone of green.
