Am particularly interested in design and colour on far left mannequin (including the bag). Any Intel?

Thanks for the pic! I’m thinking the one second from the left is a Jan Bajtlik? It has an Animapolis/cosmographia vibe. Love the colors and the pattern! I’m one of the brights/graphics people here, I made a few mistakes early on with more traditional prints like le petit duc and slowly found my way. Thankful I’ve made few mistakes since once I figured out what I love annd what suits. Although the traditional animal scarves are lovely. Even if we don’t love anything from one season there are so many more! Can’t wait for more intel! Thanks to all that are posting. :flowers:

Hahahaah I spit out my drink when I read this haha. Im still laughing.
I was thinking the exact same thing in response to other’s posts, and was going to say about how you and I rarely get out desired scarves anymore .

Goodness!! I am swooning like I have never swooned before. The color blocking/pattern mixing DOUBLE border :hbeat: . And all the not-just-pastel vibrant marble colors. Wow!
marble silhouettes of people dancing??
Wow. Please may the Gods let this one come to .com after so many I have wanted didn’t ;)
Oh, so true, Nomad! It’s fabulous.

My guess for that second one was actually Jin Kwon. I see a lot of color but also stacked, geometric shapes, which are very much her aesthetic.

Who knows….it’s still anyone’s guess since we are still waiting for the first trickle of intel on this collection. Aaaaaargh!! :whut:

Thanks for the reply. I love it so far, regardless of the artist. But it does give us all something to do, like a silky “where’s Waldo” game :P

I am assuming that 2nd scarf from the left is the ‘cityscape’ shown on page 1 - is that your thought? If they are one and the same, it looks terrific. I looked up Jan Bajtlik and see he is described as a Graphic artist, has done some work for The New York Times, also a children’s book called Auto - perhaps I’m adding 2+2=a Cityscape scarf! A good Distraction activity at any rate!

Yes, Jan is a fabulous artist, but I think you’re right, it may be someone else. He almost always has fantastical animals or people in his scarves (though he’s done a few very traditional H designs) and he always puts his dog Kluska in every piece. But I like this particular piece regardless! Thanks for the info :flowers:

Sorry, I meant that I think You may be correct about Jan B! Apart from the fantastical animals scarves, Cheval de Fete & La Selle Imaginaire are both quite graphic in style so perhaps this one is in that vein. But not long to wait for the answer…..hopefully!

It looks larger than a 90. The way it drapes over the flat mannequin - well maybe that’s why it looks so large; it’s not draped over a body, which would take up more of the scarf. Does anyone agree?
oh, yes, a ‘normal’ body would up & out and absorb some of the scarf drapery!! The mannequin looks a cardboard cutout!
