I’m in San Diego this week for work so I figured I’d hit up the San Diego boutique and see if they had any new stuff.

Fairly disappointing overall. Not many FW pieces and mostly things I’ve seen. I was thinking I might nab the Pantin City if they had it, but they didn’t. Also did not have cws of Parade en Fanfare that I still want to try.

They did have this gavroche of PeF. These aren’t my colors, but this did help confirm that this will be the first design I eventually own in like every format lol.

I think this looks great on you. Just curious…when you say aren't your colors…you mean for your complexion? Liking? Or wardrobe?
I adore the design in a gav, but am struggling with how orange or butterscotch/version is in every single cw. N I can’t do such dark scarves as the blue ardoise (45) or nuit (90) so I am out of luck so far for being able to get a Fanfare at all sadly.

By ‘not my colors’ - they aren’t a combo of tones I particularly care for, and to be honest I don’t know that they do much for my complexion either. But it was a very happy scarf, a very ‘joyous’ colorway if that makes sense.

I will probably go for one of these or both. The second one is not a typical cw for me but I like it in the photo. It will probably hinge on how ‘loud’ the teal is, and whether the tone of yellow works.

I’m so sorry to hear that you are struggling to settle on a colorway you think will work. I do agree with others that have said that the colorways just aren’t very diverse from each other, given the consistency of orange, brown, and yellow.

I think this looks GREAT on you! Happy vibes - and with this t-shirt it looks like a million! The colors really suit your complexion (the rust, yellow, orange)… It is a beautiful gavroche.

I know. Stop with the caramel/butterscotch !!! Are you interested in the men's 65 cashmere of this design? I am!!! Great CWs.

Good afternoon, Scarfies. Due to the miracle of Eastern seaboard Fed Ex ground services I am happy to share another new-in. And I am happy to say that this is *my* Parade en Fanfare! Men's 65 cashmere silk in cw (03). Just love the size and scale and these colors. Showing two bias folds, a corner fold plus one tie. Please forgive my lint covered tee shirt and very non-styled photos! It was a morning of errands, chores and puppy training interrupted by scarf mail so..

Thanks for sharing, dear LKBNOLA and congrats! The modshots are very tempting, indeed... I was actually first drawn to Parade en Fanfare due to this very 65 design from men's section. Is the grey "pure grey"' or does it have a blueish hue?

Saw this in the store iPad
Wow!!! I watched the video on the family in Japan that does this marbling technique, and I can’t even imagine how they got these figures and details on the scarf this way. I have 3 of the pink marble twillys and absolutely love them. Knowing how the artistry actually happens makes me love certain H pieces. I passed on Wow in prior seasons, and likely won’t get this one, but I bet it would tie beautifully with all 4 corners being different. I love the colors! Thanks for sharing @Angelian!!!

Thank you @CedarWaxWing -- its a great size!
Beautiful colourway on you! I can’t wear autumn hues as I’m very much a bright and cool winter but it’s so lovely to see mod shots of scarves that are just perfect for others. Enjoy!!
I completely agree with this! I love love love seeing the scarves on other TPFers and that moment when it clicks is so gratifying to see. I have managed to find a cooler toned Pantin City and good options even though there autumn colors do seem to dominate in the AW23 season @GloWW0rM!

Oh @Jereni, I think this is wonderful on you! It reminds me a bit of the happy and super fun black Electrique gav that many of us went nuts for a few season's back. It is such a great way to add a pop of brightness to your scarf wardrobe.

The top one of these and one of the bright ones are on the way to me. I just adore how the graphics look and tie on the gav. My daughter ended up getting and loving (and we all loved it on her) the bleu nuit that looks so amazing on @Jereni and @blydia and several others, but alas, it simply drained me of color-- not the deeper parts but the taupe/gold sections. I only wish there were an option with those elegant colors and some pewter/shimmery gray. But alas, I am not in charge...

Thank you @Marta_K -- I was going to hold out for the black cw on the French website but decided to try this one and I am happy that I did! I am traveling until Monday but will take photos of it on charcoal grey and light grey and white so you can see better. I live where the water changes the afternoon light quite a bit so it may be that my photos shaded a bit more blue. My husband thought it was grey/olive and since he isn't all that nuanced when it comes to color, that's probably pretty accurate!
