I agree with you @klynneann -- especially that cw10 blanc/noir/vert-de-gris. I am not a fan of the design but I think it will tie beautifully-- you can see it on the model's head scarf tie! I was skeptical about Gene Kelly last season-- loved the design but worried about the scale and tying etc and it has become a favorite 70, so...

Now on the web site, too...
Yes, this is the one! It's definitely on my short list.

Interesting, thanks for sharing. The Gene Kelly also did not appeal to me in photos but like you I love it tied/draped. So maybe there’s something here

Who’s ready for some pics of next season? :choochoo:

Have been waiting with anticipation for the CW on the left - edited to clarify: the left of the two scarves on the IG photo provided by and thanks to Angelian above in the quote - from Parade en Fanfare -

Does anyone know if it is indeed this CW 10 from the Swedish website shown below? If so, it would be very far from my vision (thought and hoped for darker jewel tones, rouge H, rouge Sellier, vert treillis bleu nuit or black, dark greens, kakis, raisin, etc. ...).

Sorry edited again: Twin with @Jereni on the bleu nuit CW - it is gorgeous - and thank you for sharing your wonderful ways to tie this beauty.
AND: I LOVED the pink yellow one on you - IMPO such a different unusual special CW!
(Unfortunately pink is hardly to match with my skin colouring - sadly.)

As another child of the 80s, of course seeing La Vallée de Cristal gave me Lisa Frank flashbacks, but as a nerd of the 80s I could only think of Anne McCaffrey's Crystal Singer:

But thank you to whoever linked to the Cave of Crystals in Mexico - that looks amazing! https://www.travelandleisure.com/trip-ideas/nature-travel/cave-mexico-largest-collection-crystals
Oh wow... I read the Crystal Singer series over and over when I was young.

Also interesting is the rocabar looks an awful lot like the Rambo Newmarket blanket. That Rambo blanket cw has been around for ages. Fellow horse people can confirm. I have wondered since seeing the h version which came first.

Rocabar was based on the Newmarket, they were a classic at British racing stables and go back to the 18C (originally woven in Witney Oxfordshire, England) the original factory closing in 2002 after 300 years.

I'm so behind on this thread for the AW offerings, but then so are the UK website and stores :search:
Gah, I know. I started getting itchy hands this weekend waiting for something, anything to appear on the UK website! In a way it’s good because I get to see some mod shots here before starting to hunt for what I really want but on the other hand it feels like I’m left out of the party (boo-boo, haha!). Anyway, some scarves are up - yay! I’m very undecided about what I want this season. Initial feeling is too much of the same colour families.

Scarves are up? I check so often H keeps thinking I'm a bot.

I totally agree about the boredom of re-issued BdG scarves. Oddly, that also seems to be a more recent trend. I don’t remember these many re-issues say 15 years ago.
I know it’s truly a classic H design and can see why, but there are some prints that would make so many of us happy in reissue!!! I missed Tohu Bohu and I dk if they’ve reissued it anytime. My guess is it would fly out of stores and the website. Oh well, one can dream :P

More fall collection pics, this time from the D.C. boutique.

Parade en Fanfare cw02. This has a lot more yellow in person than I was expecting based on the website photos, *but* my pic here makes the yellow look brighter than it is. It is the boutique lighting doing it.

I thought I’d be wanting this cw, and when I saw it flat I was turned off by the yellow. But tied, the yellow is far less obvious IMO. I am still passing on it, but it really is a very interesting colorway, very cheerful, and unexpected.

Thanks so much for showing us, and you do look lovely in this scarf! This was the cw I was interested in, but something about the brown parts (along with some shades of gold and yellow) of many cw’s just make me look like a vampire - pale and washed out and awful. I wish the browns weren’t so prominent in this scarf, because I really like it. You’ve helped me cross this one off my list sadly. Thanks again!! :flowers:

Me too!! I have to move the puzzle piece many times now:P I am so ready to see the new Ugo scarf online or on one of you that can see/try in on boutique.

I think I would like a Clair de Lune or Voitures en Equilibre shawl, but I'd love to try them on. I would expect the first to be pretty popular.

I popped into CS and NBS last Thurs (as much as anyone can 'pop-in' to H). I'm not going to email my SAs, they're more jewellery / SLGs respectively. Hard to make an appointment when it could be a waste of time.

IME, stock's in the back/basement and out on the floor 1 Jan and 1 July. So maybe this week?

I stopped by NBS tonight and they said they expect first AW 23 scarfs sometime around July 10.
