Just adding some extra photos of Lettres Equestre 05 Noir/orange/brun for reference. Thank you to @Pivoine66 for her gorgeous pics with her scrummy black jacket which encouraged me to go for it before the price increase. Mine here on chocolate brown, charcoal grey, black cardigans, and in the neck of dark blue anorak. @Pivoine66 the border isn’t too luminous for me as it lifts the scarf. I was more worried about the actual orange but those parts are not large & solid. @Jereni blue/green still to come where I will be on safer ground!

I haven't had time yet to try it on with the most obvious to me choices, which I am most eager to try, that is with green, white and cobalt blue dresses. So these three I will try to share later Also I was suprised how much yellow and honey/ochre there is in it, so I guess it will pair nicely with them too
I love it with the bolder colors-- that pink! the deep purple, and the burgundy. Great design. Thanks for all the pix!

I need help! If you would have an opportunity to get any of these 3 CWs of Jaguar Colibri - which one do you think is the most striking? For a reference I am blond with a light colored eyes. Thank you!

As a starting point, consider the colour/hue/tone of the background with your skin. Cashmere does not reflect light the way pure silk does and is not as forgiving. 2 out of the 3 look like they are on a 'neutral' base. A lot of the CSGMs I've liked have had designs on 'neutrals', but the best is (for me) actually a light grey.

Blonde with light eyes would presumably be overwhelmed by the deep blue (although not if your hair is strong honey alone and your eyes also bright). A cool, ashy, low contrast, soft, skin-tone will probably not suit any of those pictured as they're all yellow-leaning. If your skin is peachy or more neutral > warm, then the orange would be fab, the yellow better with a golden skin-tone. I don't think I've seen a bad cw of this design (in its own right).

Aaah you and @Pivoine66 are enabling me here. I am thinking I need this one too, ugh. I was worried about the brightness of the borders but I think I will have to go try it on.

(Gorgeous and congrats!)

They all are striking, the design is wonderful, and all CWs are interesting. I haven't seen them IRL to be able to help.To choose one perfect for you, if you can't visit H store (I can't), my advice would be to find as many real life pictures, including modshots, as possible (and here many threads might proove helpful, this one certainly and THE SCARF OF THE DAY..., but also What is my latest purchase.... or Hermes in action... ). Then one can try to put the phone with a given picture next to one's face. Sort of long-distance-trying-it-on

Visually (in pictures and shown flat) the left (orange multi) is the most striking. But as a choice for you that depends on if it will fit in your wardrobe and with the colors you usually wear, and whether you like your scarves to blend in with your clothes or stand out plus if you like how it looks on you.

Many of these colorways are multi colored, so ought to suit a wide variety of people and clothes. The dark is pretty, like stained glass (so is the orange one) And if I were getting one, I'd have to look at both of those (I am trying not to buy any 140 size right now as I just don't have storage for it).

The middle one would be a really really hard sell on me, because I don't do yellows very well unless there some peach and other colors I DO wear in there. It would have to look really really good on, like enough for me to overlook the wide use of yellow.

I haven’t seen any of those IRL, only the green one. Having said that, the blue looks the prettiest from all the mod shots I have seen and likely more universal as far as skin type, hair/eyes, etc. The other two have either a lot of predominant yellow or orange - so it would depend if you can wear/ like those colours on you. If you are unsure, order a couple from where you can choose and then return/exchange (obviously). Good luck.

Hi, @luckystar07 I considered all 3 of those but didn't get to try on the middle (yellow / gray) one so I can't speak to that one. The other two I own. I'm golden blond with green/blue eyes and fairly pale skin. I ended up getting both the orange / multi and the blue / red. Of those two, if I could only get one I'd choose the blue just because I wear a lot of dark blue and it is so easy for me to wear. It has plenty of WOW and a LT of contrast. The middle part looks like it is outlined in gold. The orange one, with the way I style the format, it puts a lot of the beige / orange close to my face and I'm not such a fan of that. However, the border on that one is absolutely stunning because of how many different colors it contains. Gorgeous like stained glass. With a little but of effort, I can mostly hide the orange / beige bits to showcase the border. It is not as 'easy' to throw on and go as the dark blue, at least for my skin tone. I wish I would try the yellow / gray one. I'm such a sucker for this design, I worry I'd end up with 3 of them but mostly wear the blue one! It is the best large format cashmere they've put out in years. I still have my eye on the green one and would love to try it. I hope this was somewhat helpful. I posted several mod shots of both in this thread a while back. Let me know if you have any other Qs about the two I have.
thank you, this is very helpful! I am worried I might end up with more than 1 just like you did :) I am trying to avoid the temptation! I have not seen the blue one in real life and it looks very tempting! I am going to see all 3 of them tomorrow and I already know it will be a torture!

I have the same dilemma myself. Also blonde with light eyes BUT I think the important thing here is skin tone. Do you wear silver or gold? Do you lean warm, cool, or neutral? Same can be said of blonde hair as there is a wide array of blonde tones...personally, I want the middle one (yellow/gray) however I need to see it in real life. I am neutral with a touch of warm...and I need to see it because H's photos make it seem warmer than the IRL photos I've seen here. If the yellow is bright and light, it may not be for me. If it is golden, then it will work beautifully. I think you get where I'm going here. The blue may be the most neutral of the 3 but if you have the opportunity to see any of them IRL, please take it! It is so intricate and full of colour that it is really difficult - at least for me - to decide (for myself personally, let alone for someone else). Then again, H has a good return policy so if it doesn't work with an online purchase, just send it back.
thank you! I am going to see all 3 of them in the store tomorrow, and you know how the store only gives you a credit for returns...

and I love how detailed you are in understanding the colors and undertones - something I need to learn!!
