Can I ask for an opinion. I know the answer is “both”, but if I choose one CS, which should I ask for? I wear mostly dark colors and the dark colorway would be perfect for me, and I also love the secondary colors of the horsemen, but I do not like the white border contrast as much since that is what would show when worn, unless I find a way to mostly tuck in the white part. Green, on the other hand, is my favorite color, but it may not match as many things, and I don’t like the red/orange secondary colors as much. The blue with pink border is also nice (avoiding the blue with the white border) and I love the secondary colors as well, they have a nice contrast.

There really is no right answer, just what works best for you!

I haven’t seen the Chorus Stellarum in person yet, but have been devouring images online since the early previews, as this is my favourite release of the new season. I have a couple of CLF double face, which have similarities. What shows will depend on how you tie it; do you have any preferred ways to wear?

For the first one, you could hide the light border with a bias fold and simple necklace knot. Or by folding in half, or thirds, and tying the matching corners behind the neck (I like this way to show the mid sections of a scarf and use it a lot with CLF). This one has the darkest background palette of the ones you have picked, but the way it is tied here actually makes it look like the lightest option.

Folding on the opposite bias of the green will pretty much hide the red and orange accents, but you would also lose the horses and riders, which are a key feature of the design for me. If you’re happiest with the colours overall in option three, this will probably give you the most typing options. They're usually darker in real life than the flat web pictures, so I expect all three would work well with dark clothing. The green especially would pop.

Good luck choosing and be sure to post mod shots when you can!

Edited to add that the horizontal folded tie described above may be a little fiddly with a 70!

Thank you so much!! Those are helpful ideas about tying and what parts of the scarf will show. I usually wear 70s in a very basic way, like the first photos, but I did find this photo where I got more creative and the border could be less obvious.
I have CLF 70 in 2 of the darker colorways (the blue and the grey), I have the CSGM in navy and in grey and the double face in prune (I originally had the light blue CW, because that is all I could get, but the pale blue washed me out a bit, the blue 70 has a little more contrast to it, so it works). With this in mind, maybe I will get the grey and the green. I was unsure about the green, but I saw that my cocottes 70 is similar in color!

Great choices! You have darks well represented, so this choice of CS colourways gives you variety, which is a good thing. At risk of further enablement, I think all three will look great on you!

now, just waiting for availability… I am trying to moderate my new season excitement, but this thread is a source of delight and danger
:panic:

Thank you so much for your feedback and help! This thread is so helpful and so dangerous isn’t it?

The way I see the green is with peach/corral and golden accents as indicated by the contrast hem here. I personally, don't buy any scarf that I know I'll have to hide bits of. I'd also say the first cw is also predominantly green and the border although light is not white, it mayl actually look really nice with neutrals. I never quite know 'til I try things on, I love it when I can break my own rules. I think you may be pleasantly surprised.

I've reserved like 4 CW for Chorus S, except for green, but I think I'm actually going to pivot and get the green one for the exact reasons you've mentioned. I am hoping it's slightly more saturated green like in the picture (the CW pic looks lighter than the mod shot pic). That and/or the blue/pink one.

I was only planning on the chorus S but I think I really LOVE the Robe Legere, so probably 1 Chorus S and 2 or 3 Robe Legere this season!
