Does anyone know where the artist’s signature is on Chorus Stellarum? I have two CWs and can’t find it anywhere. @bunnycat? I am, however, getting to know the scarf very well while searching for it. It’s a marvel!

I'm wondering if this could be it? It doesn't look like a random squiggle.

Or the other way up?

In the upper left corner you can see the Japanese sign for Dai, a part of the artistis name. This was also his signature in the 70 cm scarf C'est la Fête (autumn 2012), where it was placed in a spur in the upper right corner.
The artists name in Japanese: 野村大輔 - Daisuke Nomura - 大 - Dai.

The sign is upside down on both this scarf and C'est laf Fête.

As a life-long embroiderer myself (since I was 3!), I must say that price-wise it doesn’t worth the money. It’s such a basic stitch that requires almost no skills to make.

Aesthetically I don’t judge, as everyone has their own taste.
@MartinaHK What's the name of the embroidery stitch? (I used to embroider when I was a kid). Nowadays, I suspect most embroideries are done by embroidery machines, a variation on sewing machines.

Every culture has different stitch types and names. But that stitch doesn’t seem anything specific. My education in embroidery was in Italy, so I can look at that stitch as a very approximate “punto pieno” (plumetis in English? Not sure about the translation). A well made “punto pieno” would have a more round inner structure and more precise border (“pieno” means “full”). :)

Looking for your input, dear Scarfies. Les Ailes de Pegase in two cws. Leaning towards cw 03 Naturel/Marine/Rouge. I value your opinions. Such a beautiful design. Oh my!

Now I regret not waiting or asking if my store will get the maroon one! I would have preferred that one to the green (I do love my green CW one though!). I told my SA I think it deserves to be framed, the details are amazing.

ETA - I think the maroon looks better on you!
