Regarding men's sizes, not sure this is true for the sneakers, but I wear a 40 in orans and wanted to try the men's izmir in store last weekend as a wanted a more "casual" shoe. Well my SA brought out a men's size 40 in izmir and I thought they would be huge but they were a perfect fit. I think it's worth a shot that the sneaker is the same.

I could not pull off the izmir so of course bought another pair of orans, but the sneaker is cute!

I think this is on my next item to buy. My SA will be gone this month and most of next month though :/

Does anyone know if there's black with permabrass also? I think I wouldn't mind white or black, as long as the buckle is permabrass or RGHW.

A moment ago I saw black with permabrass on the US website but they're out of stock. White soles, black body, white laces.

Agreed. I've been checking several times a day for the white with permabrass. I've seen them available in other countries but not the US. I wonder what my chances are of getting them! I personally don't want to get preloved shoes but might have to lol

Not for these shoes, they run wide/roomy at the toe box.
Hermes shoes DO NOT fit the same. Different style = different size.

- I got these in black and had to go down half size. 41.5. I am 42 in everything in life
- I have the classic Quicker Sneaker, those are true to size 42
- Chypre: I had to size up to 43.5

Hermes is weird like that.

Interesting! I found the opposite (that it felt narrow in the toe box) and had to go half a size up. Any chance it varies by hardware color?

Not quite. Each shoe is built with a different last. For me this last was wide for my foot at 42, I had to go down to 41.5.
For you, it seems the the last for women is narrower. Going up half a size simply made the toe box roomier but not the length.
According to HERMES size chart the 1/2 size only goes up in width not length. So if width is your issue then go up by half. Look at the size guide i.e. 41 and 41.5 is 10.4 inches but the 42 is 10.7 inches. It’s the width that increases from 41 to 41.5 from a 9.8 to 9.9.

Sizing is true, I wear a 37 in most shoes and a 37 in these and the Advantage.

Wow, this is very helpful - thank you for taking the time to explain this (I’ll be sure to check the size chart next time)! I’m always a size 37, so this makes so much sense as to why the toe box still felt the same.

Okay lovelies…. I am deciding between the Gucci sneakers with the bee (yes the ones you see everywhere) and the Hermes day sneaker. I will end up with both at some point but my luggage is already over stuffed so I can only pick one today…. Which do you love more /find more comfortable/durable?
