Hi ladies! I was wondering if anyone has the Hèrmes Day Sneaker in white? I've seen it on the site and it's gone almost as soon as it's listed. Not just my size, the whole listing! I'm so annoyed at myself I didn't buy my size as soon as I saw it up. They had a perforated version I really liked, and that one wouldn't get restocked. Then they came out with a plain white leather one with the clasp across the front, and the listing is gone less than a week from when I saw it (and I check almost daily).

Now question is, I'm going to Switzerland for the summer. I could try to buy it there, but what do I do with all the boxes and bag? Do I save those and lug them back to America? Or do you throw them out? That would break my heart. Also, has anyone tried them? Are they comfortable? How does sizing run? Thanks for your help!

I have them, in white with permabrass. I wear them a lot, and bought a second pair with rose gold hardware, because I didn't want to wear one pair out since I can't replace them.

According to my SA they're a hot item, and I had someone offer to buy mine off my feet at a restaurant last month

Sizing is true, I wear a 37 in most shoes and a 37 in these and the Advantage.

Noooo! I was hoping it was a glitch. It was newly listed with every size available. I'm going to be refreshing the website nonstop now... How do they hold up? I wonder if they would hold up to a whole summer in Europe walking around all day. I don't want to over pack with 4 kids for two months, but they seem like the perfect walking shoe and would match everything. I just know I'll have a kid step on my shoe every now and then, and their parks can be a little dusty sometimes.

They hold up pretty well but given how rare they are I probably wouldn’t want to completely trash them (which is why I bought a second pair) if I intend to do a lot of serious walking I wear a more supportive shoe like my Olukai Pehuea. Not a luxury shoe but good for the feet and I don’t get upset if I completely wear them down.

They're comfortable and very cushy. I initially bought a low-top version in rose gold in-store. Then online, I bought a high top in permabrass and then another low-top in permabrass (haha I was also paranoid that they will discontinue! I checked daily online for a couple of months and they restocked with a lot more styles and colors). They are very popular - although I've seen them restock a lot more than before when I originally bought them, so I think it's a style that's here to stay for awhile. Sizing was true to size.

I think the Day sneakers are definitely more comfortable and easy to get in/out of than the daydream (the high tops).

Nowadays I do throw out the boxes since I try to travel light. I usually keep the dust bag.

i have a pair but can't bear to wear them often cos i was afraid it will be very prone to wear and tear =/ is anyone able to advise on the wear and tear of the day sneakers after X months/years of usage?

I’ve had mine for over a year - I don’t wear them every single day but they’re not worn out or anything.

I do stuff the toe box when I’m not using to keep the shape. But it’s a white sneaker so eventually it gets dirty and needs a quick cleaning.

I also have a pair of the white Day Sneaker with palladium/silver hardware. Purchased last July as soon as I saw them online and ordered in by my SA. I posted a photo in the Ode to Hermes Shoes thread I think as I was excited to have them. I sprayed them with Jason Mark Repel spray before first wear and they have held up well with some rainy days in London and travel. I wipe them down if they seem dirty but otherwise they are in great shape. I found them to be true to size and comfortable from first wear. They come with an extra pair of laces. The hardware does make a little jingle sound when I walk sometimes!

I have a pair in the pink/blush color with white leather trim and phw. IMO they're really comfortable right out of the box, no breaking in needed. I suspect the maintenance is the same as any other white leather sneakers, if you're OCD about stains you can treat it with water repellent spray before wearing them out, also use baby wipes on the soles after each wear to prolong the pristine condition.

Agree with the other posters. I have the white low top ones in permabrass. I hadn’t specifically asked for them, but my SA was very nice and set them aside so I could see them in person and said they were very popular. I brought the Day sneakers and Avantage both to Paris and walked 10 miles a day. My Avantage are older and more broken in, but narrower in the toe. My feet appreciated the reprieve of the slightly wider Day sneaker even though I had never wore the Day sneaker. I have the same size in both shoes.

So I’ve been nonstop refreshing the website. I found they have both the men’s and women’s back, but I’m guessing they’re returns with limited sizes available. There’s my size available in men’s (don’t ask…I’m a size 40-41 depending on the brand, and I like my shoes a little looser). Does anyone know if Hermes men’s and women’s shoes are unisex? I know with some brands like APL if women’s is sold out in a certain size I can buy it in the mens section and it’s the same shoe. Is it possible for it to be the same for Hermes? They look identical.
