Reposting from yesterday after the database loss....
I recently purchased these 2 cotton shawls and wasn't able to find much on tPF so I'm adding these for reference. From what I've been able to gather, (thanks to @bunnycat and @markova) cotton GM shawls were made circa 1995 and then again circa 2009 in just a few designs. Patterns that I'm aware of include Les Cles, Astrologie, Tout en Quilt and Lalbhai. These were 140cm square with rolled hems rather than pareo sized with machine finished edges.

@markova - when you have a few minutes, can you please repost your lovely Lalbhai?
@bunnycat - ditto for your Astrologie? Also, do you know how we could get the 'scarves' tag added and maybe have this thread moved to the Clubhouse? It would be nice to get more pics populated in this thread.

Here are the pics of my cotton Lalbhai GM (1995) that I posted yesterday. I think I mentioned that the shawls have hand rolled hems, unlike the rectangular pareos which are machine finished.

Another lurker here, but I.came out of my cave for your cotton Lalbhai, that magenta colour is incredible . 
I had no idea they had previously made 140cm cotton shawls! I have a 70cm cotton scarf I love, the quality of the cotton weave is so gorgeous. I wish they'd bring back more all cotton offerings!
