i was going through the Hermes section in TPF ..
and sow 2 threads that i really liked .. the Cashmere Shawls and the Mousseline shawls ..
But Thought i might start a thread for Cotton Shawls ..
i don't have any yet but from what i read about them that they are perfect for summer ..

I was thinking the same. I looked a few times, but they don't appear to be available on the UK H.com - although they do have a cotton losange.

Bumping this thread to see if I can find some more info about these large, lovely cotton voile shawls/chales/pareos. I spotted a pink Tout en Quilt in a 2009 scarf book, and now with all these soaring summer temps I am totally hooked on the idea of a big floaty, gauzy cotton H.

Anyone have one? Favorite colors/patterns? How do you wear yours?

Edited to add: I see Flossy Figaro has a stunner on ebay right now, and it does say Pareo on the tag. So that question's been answered! But I would still love to hear from anyone who has one of these beauties.

i am waiting for a pareo myself and i can't wait! i too would love to see more cotton scarfs and shawls and pareos i am planning to wear my pareo around my neck for the upcoming spring i also heard that the designs for the cottons and pareos are also available in silk and cashmere at times. is that true? looking forward to seeing some more

I have the Astrologie and I use it a lot during the summer. As a shawl on the plane or in the office, as well as to the sea.

second : neige d'antan about 10 years old and machine washed a lot (still looks like new) much heavier cotton than the newer ones
