Just stopped by there today and was also told that their inventory is VERY low.

As far as restaurants go, I like the recommendations given except I'd skip Bouchon. Have tried it a couple of times now and food is just ok. Nothing like it's namesake in Napa.

Also, just ate at Scarpetta last night. Have been there a few times now. Spaghetti is to die for!

Also, if you don't mind getting in your car or taking a taxi, I'd also recommend Bazaar at the SLS Hotel on La Cienaga Blvd. (it's only about 10 minutes from Beverly Hills). It is a Jose Andres, restaurant serving Modern and Traditional tapas, incorporating some molecular gastronomy.

Surely this can't be true? I bought a kelly at the Beverely Hills Hermes store in April. I was a walk in tourist and bought a kelly that was put out on the shelf while I was in the store (I had already been told no kellys/birkins earlier. Oh don't we all love the Hermes games?!). If this was the 1st kelly (or only one) of the year, I would have thought they would have had plenty of regular clients on the hunt for one?

It was 35 indigo sellier vache trekking, so I am sure there would have been some takers?:D

No luck, very low inventory. I was not impressed with the staff. It took us forever for someone to wait on us. After we looked at ties, scarves, etc I asked what they had in some specific colors and leathers. They told me that all their purses were on the shelves. There was nothing in the back, due to everyone being on holiday in France during August.

I wish you'd had have better luck. I agree with the service there too. My husband and I went in two Saturdays ago, and it was nit busy as they'd only been open half an hour, and yet no one came to see if we needed help. We finally had to ask.
