Hermes Chypre sandals- how long till they're played out?

I have the fuzzy versions and although the non-fuzzies are more “timeless”, I still think I won’t get over these sandals for a long while! Also, it might be because I’ve always been a “dad sandal” type of gal my entire adult life so I may be a bit biased lol. I do love that these aren’t the typical design where it’s two straps across (like the chanel/Prada/dior versions) so it is definitely cuter and doesn’t scream “dad sandal” in my opinion. How are the wear on these? Do you find the shearling gets pretty dirty when you wear them outdoors?

Because I live in LA, I’ve been wearing them pretty consistently since the weather doesn’t change much and the shearling is still surprisingly clean! Of course I’m pretty mindful about where I step lol but so far so good!
