Good morning, Pugs:hugs: how are things going?
Hi Avril!:hugs:
Purse, :hugs:
Restricter, :hugs: and pepcid.
It's another beautiful day. We, well, DS and us, are waiting to hear if he got accepted into grad school #2. The semester starts 2/18. He is convinced he will be accepted. So am I. haven't seen him so excited and happy in a long time. I hope he is not disappointed. He asked me if he could bring a friend with him to his DD's birthday dinner tomorrow night. Don't get all excited, now. Yes, it is a girl. We know her very well. They are just friends, but who knows. They dated in high school.

Restricter, I think you made the right decision about Winky. We (with the exception of our OB) have a collective feline medical knowledge of zero, unless noone else has identified themselves as such) What you have is the collective well-meaning love and experience of pet-parenthood. Winky has been a wondercat. He survived life on the street. He has survived so much, included the new cats in his life. He is a gem. He is the king cat in your house and he knows it (just don't tell Jingy or Smuffy!) I am not trying to make light of your situation. If you weren't having stomach pains over this, you wouldn't be normal *what did you and Winky have for dinner?* There is no happy answer. For Winky, the best answer is surely what will make him happy and enjoy his life. What would the chemo be, visits to the vet daily? weekly? Or what. Will he get crazy everytime you put him in his carrier? I can give you my advice but I won't, because you have heard it all.
Please do know, we are all wishing for you and Winky (and the rest of the crew) the best outcome.
with love,
the BBL household.

Thanks BBL.

Chemo would probably be weekly, but it's not even established that he has cancer. I hope he continues to get crazy whenever I put him in the carrier. It means he's still as feisty as ever.

No pet lives forever, except in our hearts. But I will move mountains to make sure they get quality, quantity and lots of cold cuts.
