Oh, B'mom, I think I ran into that yesterday. Was one about a woman who felt like she had to punch herself in the stomach? That looked pretty sad. I can watch stupid escapist tv, but real sad, true people stories freak me out and I don't want to watch their stories. I can't take the truth. I can't even watch commercials when they show animals in shelters or otherwise sad stories about animals. I, BBL, am a big sissy pants and can't watch scary or sad movies and TV shows.
BBL, I HATE those ads for the ASPCA where they play sad music (like "In the Arms of the Angels" by Sarah McLachlan) and show pathetic animal faces. I have to change the channel or leave the room. Argh!
DH is home! Hurray! Now he can fix all the stuff that broke this week and wrangle the puppies. And I'm gonna order pizza for dinner and drink whiskey-based drinks made by DH. Woot.

Hi OB, hi Pugsy. I love living our little sedate life.
It is cold and my back and neck hurt. We were going to go to the bead and jewelry makers show, but DH is still coughing, so I figured, why go to a place to spend money for admission, buy stuff I probably don't need to start a project that I probably wouldn't ever get to. So it is better that we didn't go. There is justification, right?

I agree about the sedate life, and I also agree with Pugsy that one plus of watching RH of Wherever is that the comparison to our own lives makes ours look soooo gooooood. A lot of histrionic personality disorders among the RHs, I think, that allow them to thrive on the chaos and bad behavior. I couldn't BEAR some of the social activities that the RHs seem to indulge in regularly.
You mean like EUP (exploit unfortunate people) and ME (mindless entertainment) channels?
Unfortunately, I come to that realization when I get home from the shows....
It is, but after 3, I've seen a def pattern (eating odd stuff, i.e Comet or toilet paper, physical, i.e. bodybuilding or tanning) so I think I'm done.
BUT - I just started watching Selling NY just to spot the Birkins, H, LV, etc. The properties are TDF too....

Others have done it-The Nashville Netowrk is now Spike TV, Life Network is now Slice etc.
Speaking of TV programming do you have the aquarium channel or the fireplace channel?
