Wow! Some quality television being watched on Chat tonight :D I have no room to talk since I watch the trashiest of trash tv...Real Housewives. All of them.

Cbella, that's unbelievable! I guess it's worse that this isn't the first time she's asked you to lie for her.

Restricter, fantastic jacket!!! $49!! Why am I not XXS?!!

Bmom, that necklace was meant to be yours!! It looks perfect on you and is making me rethink the Sweet Alhambra collection.

Thanks OB. I really like the Sweet collection! I tried on both the Vintage and the Sweet last week (just realized that I tried the butterfly on at the boutique) and liked Sweet much more than I thought I would. It's there, but kinda not, if that makes ANY sense. The Vintage and Magic (med/lrg) are def. eye-catching, but the Sweet is more, can I say...SUBVERSIVE!

fun fact: DH is just dying to own a meteor watch one day.

Are they made with real meteors?

OB -- We didn't watch the California Real Housewives. It was just too much. Then the originals were on in the morning. The OC show from the first season. So, I got hooked last week. It's easy. They all look alike and I can't tell the difference in the OC show and the Beverly Hills women I started watching because it's so easy to find the shows being rerun. And I love Andy Cohen and his little show. He is a goldmine for NBC/Bravo. Speaking of TV, DH DVRed Bill Maher and is watching now, so I must be off. Cannot wait for the NY Housewives!!!!!

Mindi, that's a pretty big jump in fat content, probably more compared to I/D. I wouldn't say that it's high enough to cause pancreatitis (not like a pot of bacon grease!), but if he is genetically predisposed to getting pancreatitis or he eats too much of it, it could be what pushes him over edge. I'll admit, this diet wouldn't be my first choice for a puppy with a history of GI upset; generally the blander the better unless you know that it's a specific allergy. But, hey, at some point you have to challenge him with the food that you want him to eat long term. Introduce it very slowly and don't overfeed him...you should be pretty safe from causing anything new at least. If he gets diarrhea, you know he can't handle such a rich diet.

I'm embarrassed to admit this, OB, but about two hours ago I went back to the pet store and returned the EVO. Replaced it with "Wellness Core," which also is mostly meat and so rather high protein (34% compared to EVO's 42%) but has much less fat (a more standard 14% rather than EVO's 22%). Seems safer to me. I had the same thoughts about GI upset and diarrhea based on that fat content. The Wellness is an adult formula, so I don't know if I need to supplement it with anything since HenHen is technically still a puppy of 7 months, albeit a darn big one!

I love me some reality tv, but I honestly can't watch the Housewives, any of 'em. The narcissism and stupidity are so intense I start feeling woozy.

They're like a car accident...you can't help but slow down and stare. I take it back, I refused to watch the NYC one last season and I think I avoided the NJ one for thd most part. The ATL one is just pure comedy because it's just a bunch of nobodies trying to act like they are somebody important/talented/famous.

I don't think you'll stunt his growth (much). :p

Well...

I just went to take a shower and my shower fizzled. I'm not sure what's broken, having grown up in apartments. Either there's a burst pipe back there somewhere or the thingie that switches from the tub to the faucet is broken (which I think is the case). It's just a darned good thing I have a master bath. I just hope my master bath shower didn't leak in Squatter's kitchen...

So much for a mental health day.

Phooey. Plumbing problems are the pits.

 You shouldn't need to supplement. He's still growing but not as fast as when he was younger. Maybe if he does well on this food, you can eventually try EVO.

Well this is the second time today I have agreed with you!!

I try to watch but I too am so horrified with the whole group, all the drama, and the fact that yes, they are not bright at all..
