Well bc in LA its a first come first serve so unless u r a VVVVIP then you cant choose your color. you can only get whatever the store has. and i went in the morning and i was like 1st in line when the store opened and the sa had 1 big box ready for clients to buy and i brought it. i was also offered a 30 swift birkin but color wasnt me so i passed. its a bit easiler to get a birkin in LA but thats just my opinion.

really? may i know why?
this is very interesting

angelicskater, Thanks for you great information. I will keep that in mind. I will try my luck and see what happen. I am looking for a 30 black togo with PHW. I heard the black challenge is tough and will see. Thanks again!

Irene Kim is a wonderful SA at BH who really goes the distance for her customers. She'll really work to find what you want, if they don't have it in stock (Birkins and Kellys excepted, of course, since my understanding is that those bags can't be transferred from other locations).

As for Birkins, they get stock regularly, but they seem to get more basic leathers in 35cm and exotic skins in 30cm. Not to say you can't get a black togo 30, but you might have to wait longer for it. In spite of the fact that it's first come, first served, if you develop a good relationship with your SA, they will call you when they get what you want in stock. Good luck in your quest.

I have been on the waitlist for the jige in black since March 18 of this year and still did not get a call. I called my SA and she said since they moved locations they have not
been receiving leather goods. Does this sound right? It's almost
6 months! I didn't expect it to take so long. I'm trying to work my way to a Birkin but at this rate it feels like it's going to be impossible!

It is nearly impossible to order a B or a K at BH unless you are Bill or Melinda Gates (or someone of that calliber- I understand Judge Judy is also a preferred customer)- sometimes people are lucky and find one on the shelf that was just put out. For leather, it is better to establish a relationship with another boutique to get what you want or take your chances you will win the handbag lottery at BH.
