Hi ladies...
Sorry if there's a thread about this, but I just want to know about the inventory in Hermes Bangkok. I am going there next month and hoping that I can get my hands on birkin over there.

Hi ladies...

I was told that tourists would have zero chance of scoring a Birkin in BKK. Birkins are for their regulars only.

Was in bangkok last March and went to an H store. Inquired about birkin, they said it was for their "locals", i said, i can ask a Thai frined to buy it for me.. and they said , she has to be a VIP -- i guess very slim chance.
I think HKG is the best bet...

just recently, a SA in Hongkong told me that they are now only covering their 2001 waitlist customers - be it fact or BS from this SA, i am safely assuming there is more than just simple luck factor to obtain a birkin in HK....

best bet - go PARIS - tts the place to get your birkin. :D

Thanks for the update bbbochap on the HK hermes store...I will be going to HK next week, do you know by anychance the inventory there....I am looking for a Karo or Kelly in Lagon (saw it in the other thread:yes:)

What are the chances of getting a Kelly in HK..its always nice to score when you are on a holiday:yahoo:

Sorry, the question does not fit the thread title though...;)

In asia, you can see kellys displaced on the shelves and even if not, when you ask nicely, they might show you one or too. HK has a few Hermes boutiques so visit all of them and chances of you scoring a kelly is good (but may not be in the specific color you want... but then again lagoon is the current color hermes is promoting... so good luck!)

Hk is probably the cheapest place in Asia to get a kelly, as the HKD is pegged to the USD and there is no Sales tax

A bigger Yeahoo:yahoo:...If I could trouble you a little more, amongst the Hermes stores in HK, which one would have the better inventory..., do you think? If it helps, I will be staying at the Peninsular...

Thanks a million.. By any chance are you from HK, archangel....I remember seeing that there was a TPF meeting planned in HK....has it occured already?...if not, if it is around 10 - 13 June, I would love  to join you guys!

Thanks again...

You'll have a greater chance at Peninsula, Sogo and Lee Garden Stores. The one at Duty Free Shop (At Sun Plaza, Tsim Sha Tsui) is run by Duty Free so the stock will be different. Good luck!

I was in Bangkok a couple of weeks ago and didn't see any Kellys or Birkins on display.

HK is another story! At Lee Gardens, I saw 3 Kellys (last month) and 2 huge Birkins, and 2 months ago in Kowloon, I saw 2 Kellys. Also, there are also the Milan Stations to check out - lots of Birkins there

^ And BTW, the Peninsula is a beautiful hotel. They were building a new H store in the hotel last time I was there (not sure if it's finished), otherwise, there's one right next to it, where I saw the 2 Kellys listed above (1 was gold rigide with white stitching, the other was potiron, I think - don't remember much more)
